Brad: ok I'll be there in a couple of minutes
Carrie: thanks... Oh and drive safely
Brad: i will don't worry.
Carrie hunged up and immediately began to clean the living room. It was full of baby stuff. Brad drove slowly to Carrie's house, he was wondering why did she want him to come over. "Hopefully its not awkward," he thought.
He arrived about 15 minutes later, he parked and got off. He came up to the door about to knock but the door had opened.
Carrie: Brad!!!
She ran up to him for a big hug. He put his hands around her waist and she had hers on his back. "Wow! Brad has gotten ripped, I love how his muscles feel," she thought. She finally let go of him.
Brad: I didn't think you missed me that much!
Carrie: Of course I did!
Brad: come in, meet Isaiah
Brad followed Carrie to the bedroom, Isaiah was laying on bed. Carrie sat down and gave him a bottle of breast milk. The baby started crying, Carrie couldn't stop him from crying.
Brad: may I??
Carrie: yea sure.
Brad: wow what a beautiful baby just like his mother.
Carrie blushed and tried to change the subject. She handed him Isaiah and the bottle. The baby immediately stopped crying.
Carrie: I can tell your great with babies!
Brad: you'll get used it😉
Carrie: hey I wanted to ask you
Brad: what
Carrie: why did you leave when Mike came in. You left sad
Brad: I don't know. I felt weird being in there. That moment should of just been you and Mike. I'm sorry I didn't say bye but I just had to leave.
Carrie: Brad your my best friend.
Brad heart dropped when he heard her say "best friend," he finally began to feel something more for Carrie.
Carrie: you don't ever have to feel awkward with me and Mike. I come to you when ever I have a problem. And I really want to thank you for what you did. If it wasn't for you I don't know where I've been. Imagine me giving birth here at my house.
Brad: Care you know that I'm always here for you.
Carrie: Can you do me a big favor
Brad: yea sure
Carrie: Mike has been drinking a lot lately. He doesn't listen to me whenever I try to talk to him. Can you give him a call one of these days and talk to him.
Brad: of course Carrie.
Carrie: thank you. Hey what are you doing tomorrow??
Brad: im actually flying back to Phoenix to go back on tour.
Carrie felt sadness but she didn't want to show it.
Carrie: never mind then. Hey do you want something to drink
Brad: um just water
Carrie: ok I'll be right back
Carrie left and Brad began to sing "Anything Like Me" to the baby.
Carrie grabbed a bottle of water and ran back to the room. She stood by the door listening to Brad sing.
"What would I do without him. Why can't Mike be like that. Brad is perfect, the type of man I always wanted. If only he met me before Kim then maybe he and I would be... Stop!! Carrie!! I should think of this.," she thought.
She walked in the room. Brad laid the baby down on the bed and grabbed the bottle of water. He gave a sip and then closed it.
Brad: uncle Brad is gonna take you fishing one day
Carrie: wished it was daddy Brad(saying it to herself)
Brad: huh??
Carrie: oh nothing
"Shit Carrie!! What are you thinking. That was close!!," she said in her mind.
"She just said daddy Brad, I heard it clearly. Why would she say that. Is Carrie having the same feelings I'm having?," Brad thought to himself.
Carrie: Brad can I ask another favor??(puppy face)
Brad: of course😂
Carrie: can you take care of him while I go shower. Plzzzz
Brad: yea don't worry. When ever you need a baby sitter I'm here. Plus you do reak😂
Carrie: hey!!! 😂I wont take long.
She ran upstairs and headed to the bathroom. Brad gave out a big yawn. He rested his bottle on the night stand and laid down next to the baby. His head landed on Carrie's pillow. He loved her scent. He went onto Twitter and retweeted Carrie's picture and added a funny comment.Couple minutes later he was sleeping.
Carrie began to wash her body with soap when Brad came to her mind. She rubbed her hand down her breast and her body. She moaned Brad's name real loud. She continued until Mike came into her mind. "Carrie stop!! You can't be thinking of Brad that way. Your both separately married and now have kids. Fo I love Brad more than Mike?? Does he feel the same about me? Is that the reason why he left the hospital right when Mike came in? He loves Isaiah I can already tell. What would happen if we... What if I tell him what I'm feeling. Would he end our friendship?? I don't want to lose him." She thought
Carrie came out of the shower about 30 minutes later. She changed into her pajamas. Mike texted her saying that he boarded the airplane and are now heading back to Nashville.
"Shoot! Mikes coming. Brad needs to leave before it gets awkward." She thought. She ran downstairs to the bedroom.
Carrie: Brad!! Thanks for..
She began to tear up when she saw him laying next to Isaiah sleeping. "My babies are both sleepy. If me and Brad were married and Isaiah was ours, my dream would come true! Snap out of it Carrie!!!" she told herself. She took a picture of them and then emailed it to herself. She then deleted it from her photo album so Mike wouldn't see it. She walked over to Brad and tapped him on the shoulder.
Carrie: Brad!! Brad!! Mikes coming you need to leave before it gets weird.
He stood up and stretched.
Carrie: Well once again thank you so much. I don't know what I would do without you☺️
Brad: no problem. Bye
Carrie: wait!! Can you bring me a water bottle plzzz! Last favor
Brad:😂😂 ok ok
He went to the fridge and grabbed a Smart Water and some grapes. He walked back to the room and saw Carrie already in bed.
Brad: here and I ate all your grapes😂😂
Carrie: thank you. Can you give me the blanket.
He grabbed the end of it and pushed it over her body. Their eyes met, they couldn't stop staring until Brad leaned in and....
