When Dean and Sam finally arrived at Harpy base, Sam was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of spies roaming the place.

"How has no one ever heard of you?" Sam asked out of curiosity.

"It's called a secret organization for a reason Sammy," Dean responded like the answer was obvious. "I have to check in, stay here and don't touch anything," he continued and walked away to go speak with Bobby.

"Dean there you are, I got your message," Bobby said, happy to see him. "How's the kid?" He asked. Dean glanced back over at Sam to see that he was messing with one of the gadgets.

"How does this work?" Sam asked himself.

"Well if he presses the wrong thing, he'll blow himself up," Dean responded and before he could say more, Bobby ran off towards Sam. Dean sighed but followed him.

"Hey um I wouldn't mess with that, if I were you," Bobby said and Sam almost jumped at his voice.

"Seriously you people need to stop doing that," Sam answered. How did he know if these guys were telling the truth, what if they were the ones wanting to experiment on him.

"Apologizes for the snaky approach, Dean isn't that great with people," Bobby said.

"No kidding, he carried me out the front door," Sam replied. "Who are you anyway?" he asked.

"Robert Singer, but call me Bobby, I'm the director of the Harpy spy organization," Bobby explained.

"Wait Harpy as in the eagle?" Sam asked curiously.

"Is that really important?" Dean asked instead of answering. Sam said nothing to that and Bobby gave his agent a look of disapproval.

"Anyway I trust that you've been briefed on the situation?" Bobby asked.

"Yeah but I still have no idea what's going on," Sam answered.

"I'll answer any questions you have," Bobby answered. "Dean will show where you'll be staying," he continued.

"Umm..." Sam got cut off before he could finish.

"It's safer this way as Viper can't find you here," Bobby explained. "And um I'm sorry about your girlfriend," he continued before walking down the hallway. Sam tensed up at the mention of the topic and Dean actually felt sorry for him. So that was what his hidden file was saying, but why hide it in code?

"What happened..." Dean started but Sam cut him off.

"She got kidnapped and went missing for a year, when they found her, Jessica was dead," Sam said through tears. He hated having to think about that event because it was the worst night of his life, when he got the news.

"Oh gosh kid I'm.." Dean started to say but Sam cut him off again.

"You were going to say I'm sorry for your loss, or it all gets easier with time, or I know what you're going through," Sam answered. As if he had heard those phrases hundreds of times before.

"I'm sorry I was just.." Dean began but Sam walked away from him. "trying to help," he finished. "Son of a bitch," Not willing to follow Sam, Dean turned and made his way toward the gym. Sam leaned against the wall and turned only to see Dean heading the opposite way. Curious as to where Dean was heading, he followed Dean until eventually he arrived at the gym. In the gym, Dean had been standing in front of a combat dummy practicing his fighting. While it was good that he had bionics; Dean knew that he couldn't rely on them often. Sam watched from afar as Dean remembered all the moves that he had been taught when he was only sixteen. After a while of practicing, he could feel that Sam had followed him and was watching him from a safe distance. Out of breath he placed his hand on the combat dummy and turned to see Sam.

"You know it's not good to spy on someone right?" Dean said. "Ever heard of personal space?"

"Yes but it's not like I've got much else to do," Sam answered. "By the way you never answered my question earlier,"

"Must have slipped my mind," Dean answered as he went back to focusing on the dummy.

"How did you get these bionics?" Sam asked. "You can't have been born with them,"

"I wasn't," Dean said, taking a break from the dummy and going to sit on the bleachers. "Someone experimented on me," he explained "Gave me the abilities,"

"Damn," was all Sam said as he made his way over to Dean and sat down. "They seem kinda cool actually," he continued. "Like having a superpower," he finished.

"Don't flatter yourself, it's not as cool as you think," Dean answered. He picked up his water bottle and drank some water before wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Before they could do anything else, I was saved by Bobby and the organization," he said. "Bobby helped me learn how to control my abilities but I can't use them often unless I want to die,"

"So you kinda have your own kryptonite," Sam realized. "Your powers are dangerous therefore using them too much can be fatal,"

"Wow you really are a nerd aren't you?" Dean questioned. "Come on i'll show you, and also how about we don't go all superman on this joint," Dean got up from the bleacher and started walking only to see that Sam wasn't following him. "Are you just going to sit there? Or are you coming?"

"How do I know you're not leading me into some kind of torture chamber?" Sam asked, still unsure if he could trust Dean.

"Sam if I wanted to torture you, you would have been knocked out by now," Dean said. "Now either you come with me or I will use my abilities and find every embarrassing picture you have,"

"Hey that's uncalled for!" Sam yelled but decided to follow Dean after hearing that. "Where are you taking me?" he asked.

"A place where Bobby helped me control my abilities," Dean said and led Sam to a special training room that was surrounded by bullet proof glass. Pushing the door open Dean walked over to a table with buttons. Grabbing a blind fold he placed it on his head. "Sam, When I give the thumbs up I need you to press that red button, don't ask questions, just watch," Dean entered the glass room and closed the door. Heading to the center of the room, Dean gave Sam the thumbs up.

Sam was hesitant at first but pressed the red button, immediately a simulation came up and Dean used his super senses especially his hearing. Suddenly fake enemy agents appeared in the simulation but with Dean being blind folded he had to use his bionic hearing. One agent pulled out a dagger and ran at Dean. Sensing the enemy, Dean dodged it and fought the agents. Each one had their own personal weapon and Dean was pretty much mopping the floor with them. Sam was amazed and found it hard to express his emotions in words. While Sam had watched Dean he couldn't help but remember what had happened to Jessica so when the simulation was over with, Sam tried his best to put on a good poker face to hide the hurt he had felt.

"That was...awesome," Sam said to him and stood there in complete shock while Dean laughed. Dean removed the blindfold and walked out of the glassed off area, he couldn't use anymore of his bionics at that moment for fear that he might hurt himself.

"I learned how to control my abilities here," Dean said. "That's also how I got to you and that agent before she could kidnap you," Sam took all this in for a minute before asking another question that had been on his mind.

"Is that why you read through my file?" Sam asked. He was hiding a lot of uneasiness of being around all these weapons, it brought back painful memories for him.

"I read that file because you were Viper's next target," Dean said. "At first I wasn't sure why they wanted you but it started to occur to me the way you ask questions, your knowledge," he continued. "They wanted you because of your book smarts," he kept going. "Come on I should probably show you to your room,"

"That sounds nice, I really don't want to stay by all these weapons," Sam answered.

"They can't hurt you," Dean said. "Those were only simulations," Dean turned and walked out of the room pausing by the door to wait for Sam.

"That's not what I meant," Sam whispered as he followed Dean out the door. He thought he had been quiet enough but Dean still heard him.

"You can talk about it, if you want," Dean said trying to help.

"I'd rather not, all you need to know is that it's the reason I don't sleep," Sam answered.
