"Icy, maybe we should talk about this..."

"Talk about what?! You filthy traitor!"

"We agreed to work for each other!"

"Yeah but that's not all you wanted... You wanted to take power too!"

Darcy swallows heavily. Having acted so loudly had aroused too many suspicions, well-founded ones. However, she tries to keep her cool.

"Icy, listen... Let's get back to cooperating. We may be weaker on our own. It didn't work with Riven, and it didn't work with Musa either."

"Yeah, the chicken got out of hand again!" blurts Stormy.

Icy waves the paper on which was affixed the counter spell that would break Faragonda's protection and allow the hags to take the spell that would make them invincible.

"In the meantime, let's take care of this. We'll study up on it, after which I propose we pay a little visit to the dear old principal of the fairies!"

They all three laugh, wicked as ever.

"Mmmf... geez what the..." Riven opens his eyes, hitting the alarm clock that wouldn't stop ringing. He looks around, the bed looked like a battlefield. Musa was sleeping soundly, completely naked...they must have been at it all night.
He gets up, going to wash his face and putting on a pair of boxers. Tiptoeing upstairs, he made sure those three little brats were asleep-Jayden as usual slept with his feet out of the blanket; Ruby, on the other hand, had hopped from her bed to her sister's to sleep in company. Riven chuckles, walking in and setting the three of them down.

He returns downstairs, stretching a bit.... It seemed like an eternity since that nightmare, in reality it had only been a couple of weeks. He begins to think as he makes his usual bitter coffee. Saladin had granted him a leave of absence from school due to the state of alert caused by the Trix. The elderly principal felt responsible because Riven was on Eraklyon on his own that day, when he really should be spending more time with his family.
The young man's thoughts are interrupted by the light footsteps of his fairy. By now he would have recognized Musa's light step even amidst a hundred deafening noises.

"Good morning pixie."

"When are you going to stop being a mood breaker? I wanted to play a joke on you!" snorts Musa, pouting. That pouty little face, framed by her blue bangs and long pigtails. Riven snorts with laughter as he looks at her.

"uh how threatening you are! I'm shitting myself with fear!"

"Ohh knock it off!" she tries to punch him in the arm but Riven quickly picks her up like a sack of potatoes.

"Put me down!!!"

"No!!!" he laughs.

"You two look like children..." comments Harmony, causing her parents to petrify, caught in such an intimate yet funny moment.

"Good morning daddy's fairy...you know, us grown-ups like to joke around too," he smiles at his daughter, winking at her. Harmony giggles and gives him a hug.

Musa laughs through the whole situation as she gets ready to make breakfast. It was a wonderful sight to see Riven so tender with their children; he was a wonderful father despite being a difficult and temperamental man.

"Today mom wants to buy me some nice clothes! We'll go shopping with Aunt Stella and Aunt Bloom!" she says all excited.

"Shopping, huh?" he giggles taking the baby in his arms and looking at Musa.

"Yeah, at least I'm not alone. I'm taking Ruby with me too. What are you and Jayjay going to do?"

"um" Riven just answers like that while shrugging.
