Babysitting Rosa

"Mucho gracias for babysitting Rosa you two. We know she can be a big handful.' said Carlos

"No problem. We like Rosa, don't we Kid?" asked Jo

"We sure do! This is no problem for Kid Cosmic and Jo! Even though we don't have our rings."

"Very well. Goodbye you two!" said Ramona as her and Carlos walked out the door.

Jo turned around with her eyes closed.

"So Rosa what do you want to-"

"do."

"Wait, where'd she go?"

A flush was heard, and Rosa walked up.

"Rosa used el baño all by herself!"

"Good job sweetie, but did you wash your hands?"

*sigh*"no." She went to do so.

"Sooooooooo, what do you and her usually do Jo?" asked Kid

"Eh, mostly play, watch TV, and sleep."

"DON'T FORGET BEING A GIANT!" Said Kid jumping up and down.

"Heh, how could I?"

Rosa came back.

"Rosa wash hands!"

"Good job honey! So, what do you wanna do now?"

"Rosa wants to be NIÑA GIGANTICA!"

"Uh, Rosa-" began Jo

Kid walked up, and knelt down.

"Rosa, the aliens took the rings, uh, stones back with them."

"But Rosa wants to be superhero again." Tears well up in her eyes.

"Oh, but Rosa, you are a superhero. Your my superhero. You see sometimes I have sui- I MEAN, uh, I feel super sad. But then I think of you, Jo, Papa G, Tuna Sandwich, and Chuck, and I feel happy again. So in a way, you're a superhero because you help me feel happy."

Rosa hugs Kid for 5 seconds, then lets go.

"Psst, good catch Kid." said Jo

"Thanks"

"Want to go outside and play?" asked Jo

"YEAH!" both kids said.

And so, they did. Rosa had just got a new trampoline in the yard, so they jumped on that.

"I FEEL LIKE I'M FLYING AGAIN! WOOHOO!"

"ROSA LOVE LA TRAMPOLINA! EEHEHEHEHE!" Rosa yelled from the arms of Jo.

Eventually, it was 6:00PM, so they went inside.

"Ok, who's ready for dinner?" asked Jo

"ME ME!"

"Alright. You two go watch TV, and I'll make the dinner."

"Okay!"

After watching some cartoons, dinner was ready, so they all washed their hands.

The dinner was baked chicken, mashed potatoes, Mac and Cheese, and broccoli. It was all eaten by everyone. However, Rosa had a problem.

She wouldn't eat her broccoli.

"ROSA NO LIKE BROCCOLI HMPF!" she said, crossing her arms and turning her head.

"Hey Rosa, you knoooooow, eating broccoli makes people strong, like superheroes!" said Kid

Rosa looked further away.

"Hey, tell you what, why don't we each eat a piece at the same time? If you don't like it, you don't have to eat anymore."

"Weeeeeeell, ok"

Kid took a piece of Rosa's broccoli with his fork, as he had finished his, and he looked at her.

"Okay, 1, 2, 3!" They both put a piece in at the same.

Pause

"Rosa LOVE broccoli! Gracias Kid"

"No problem Rosa."

"Ok Rosa, bathtime." said Jo

"Ok!"

"Kid, you better take a shower."

"Ok. I wanted to any way. Long hot showers feel suuuuper good!"

"Heh, true dat kid."

After Rosa's bath, her and Jo went downstairs, and waited 10 more minutes for Kid. After that, he came down. He had green jammies on.

A they decided to watch TV for about an hour. Rosa fell asleep.

"D'aw, I'll take her to her room." said Jo

Kid nodded. But then something happened.

He began seeing things, and hearing voices.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOONK! CRASH! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! WEEWOO WEEWOO WEEWOO!
COME ON! GET THAT DOOR OPEN!

A male and female voice was heard.

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT KID!"

"WHY DIDNT YOU WARN US?"

"I,"

"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"

"NO NO NONONONONO I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!"

"KID, SNAP OUT OF IT!"

It was Jo.

Kid was standing in the middle of the living room. Jo had her hands on his shoulders, looking down at him.

Kid rushed into her arms, hugging her while loudly sobbing.

"Shh shh, it's ok Kid. I'm here now. C'mon, let's get to the couch."

Kid was holding onto Jo as if it were for dear life, still sobbing. Jo just rubbed his back from under his shirt to try and calm him down. Despite how good it would feel, Kid didn't notice.

How could he?

After ten minutes of sobbing, Kid spoke.

"Jo, is it my fault?"

"Hmm? Is what your fault?"

"You know, my, uh, parents."

No, no, Kid. It's NOT your fault. DON'T EVER SAY THAT!

"But I should've warned them sooner!"

"You were asleep. It wasn't your fault." Jo soothed

"Yeah, maybe you're right. Thanks for being there for me Jo."

"Hey, that's what big sisters are for!"

"You really think?"

"DUH! Of course I do!"

"I love you, Jo."

"Heh, me too Kid."

Carlos and Ramona got home soon after, and Jo stayed with kid in his camper that night after Papa G picked them up.
