"Where am I?" asked the direwolf leader.
He stood on what seemed to be a dark floor... no... it was not a dark floor... looking down, he could see stars, and even galaxies.
His eyes widened.
"No way..." he muttered.
The starry night sky surrounded him. Far and wide, he saw different colors... blue... magenta... pink... white... yellow...
He quickly shook out of his stupor, and remembered what happened to him.
"So I am dead... killed by a slime... a miserable way to end... hopefully my son is alright..."
"He is." said another voice.
The direwolf turned around, shocked. In front of him stood the embodiment of beauty. Platinum blue hair, a white shirt, black pants, and a golden collar. Her red eyes were also extremely analytical.
Beside her stood a tanned man, with blond hair His muscles were quite visible. It was clear from both of their auras that they were absurdly powerful.
"W-who are you?" asked the direwolf.
"I have no obligation to answer that." answered the blue-haired beauty.
"KUAHAHAHAHA! Of course we don't!" continued the tanned man. "However! Since I am so generous, I might as well introduce myself! I AM THE STORM DRAGON VELDORA TEMPEST! Bow before my might!"
Saying this, Veldora unleashed a devastating aura that would have usually killed any A- ranked or lower monster immediately. However, since they were on the spiritual plane, and with Ciel's interference, nothing worth noting happened, except for the prostration of the direwolf in question.
"Please have mercy on this lowly direwolf-"
"Yea yea don't worry about it, just don't insult Rimuru by calling him "a slime". He's way more important than just a slime." answered Veldora.
The direwolf was shocked.
"How important is this slime?"
To this, Ciel smiled.
"The place that you currently reside is in his "inner world" so to speak. Usually, a soul such as yourself would dissipate into the atmosphere, however, Master, or Lord Rimuru, decided to absorb you into this {Imaginary Space}."
Her explanation was met with shock from the direwolf.
"As you can infer, he is also responsible for the disappearance of the Storm Dragon, and who also resides in this space." Ciel continued.
"...Why?" asked the direwolf. "Why did he bring me here?"
"Because he is merciful." answered Ciel. "Because despite your rude demeanor, you cared about your family. As such, my lord gave you a chance to witness the growth and prosperity of your family from within him. A great honor that you should cherish."
Suddenly, behind the direwolf, space warped, before turning into an image of his son being named. They quickly gained strength, swearing loyalty to their new master, and following his orders. The direwolf was moved.
"I see... thank you..."
Ciel and Veldora smiled, as the three of them watched Rimuru's journey from this {Imaginary Space}, which was at this point more akin to a spiritual plane than a mere storage area.
