Boyfriend's Demon Maid (BF x GF)

Meeting Her Dad

"Do you have any plans today, Boyfriend?" Girlfriend asked.

"Well, I usually just stay home on off days." Boyfriend said.

"Got it!" Girlfriend said. She pointed at herself. "I'll give it my utmost best as your maid to ensure you can relax!"

"It's fine, really." Boyfriend replied.

Later, Girlfriend looked at the clock.

"I should go get groceries." Girlfriend said. She put her shoes on. "What should I make for tonight's dinner?" She asked Boyfriend before she left.

"Soup would be good." He said.

"Alright, then." She replied. When Girlfriend was at the shopping district, she happened to walk past TV's for sale. 

"Their lifespan's too short!" Said someone on the TV. Girlfriend's heart dropped to her stomach. On TV, there was a comparison of a hamster's life to a human's. 

"Every living creature has it's own perception of time, and applying human standards to them is mistaken." Someone else on the TV said.

"How long are you planning to keep doing this?" Asked a voice from out of nowhere. An illusion of Girlfriend in her demon form appeared in front of Girlfriend.

"Are you me?" Girlfriend asked.

"That's right. I'm the doubt within you." The illusion answered. "I ask you again; How long are you planning to keep doing this?" It asked.

"I just want to enjoy the time I have now and spend time with Boyfriend. That's all." Girlfriend said.

"How long?" The illusion asked again. Girlfriend went silent. "You understand, don't you? One day you will have to go back." It added.

"I won't go back." Girlfriend said. "I won't intend to go back. Because I'm... Boyfriend's maid." She declared.

"You're not. You're a demon!" Retorted Girlfriend's doubt. "What will you do if you have a reason to return?" It asked. "If the war were to worsen... If Boyfriend were to..."

Girlfriend's doubt didn't have to finish that sentence for Girlfriend's eyes to widen and for her to start panicking. 

"Boyfriend... The place I belong..." She thought. Girlfriend's train of thoughts was stopped. She sensed a familiar presence behind her. She turned around, and to her horror, it was....

Her father.

"Father?" She asked.

"You understand why I'm here, yes?" Her father asked.

Girlfriend sunk her head.

"You're coming home with me." He demanded. "This isn't where you belong."

Carol could sense Girlfriend's father's presence, too. She knew something was wrong. Carol flew to where Girlfriend and her father were, but it was too late. She could only see the portal back to their world closing.

"Girlfriend..." She said.

Boyfriend heard a ring at the door. He went to answer it.

"Oh, hi Carol." He said. He noticed the grim look on her face.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Girlfriend went home." She said.

"She told me she was just going shopi--"

"She went home." Carol said briefly.

"Huh?" Boyfriend asked.

"To the other world. I think her father came to pick her up." Carol said.
