"Daphne, you are to come right now!" I yelled as I dragged Daphne out of the tent.

"Why?" moaned Daphne. "I want to sleep!"

"Weapons. We are practicing weapons so we can go with Sybill and Arion!"

"I don't want to!"

"What's going on here?" a new voice asked.

We looked up to see Oreius the centaur. Daphne blushed hard as she stood up straight. She knew Oreius the centaur loved weapons and would kill her if she didn't practice.

"Oh, we were just going to the weapon field," she said innocently.

"Oh well then, go on."

I grabbed Daphne's hand and dragged her forward. Daphne, who didn't like to be ordered by, wiggled out of my arm.

"Oh so you're scared of Oreius! Not me, not Arion, not Sybill!" I said angrily.

"Well, because he'll tell Aslan," Daphne snapped. "And then we'll have to do something new. All over again."

Well, she was right. But I wasn't going to admit it.

"Okay, whatever. Now, will you come or should  go tell Aslan?" I asked.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Daphne huffed.

As we were nearing the weapons field, there was an ear piercing scream. It shouted, "Peter!" several times. I gasped and turned around. The sound was coming from the woods.

"Daphne, I need you to stay here, near Aslan's Camp!" I said.

"What? Where are you going?" Daphne asked.

I didn't answer her question as I was already hurrying toward the noise. I hurried into the woods, near the river where creatures form Aslan's camp usually got their water from, as the voice screamed again. Actually, it seemed to be voices. I ran faster to see a group of wolves around a tree, Peter Pevensie, his sword straightened in front of him, Susan and Lucy Pevensie on the tree, Aslan and a few other centaurs.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Miss Traitor," Maugrim, one of the wolves, hissed.

Peter turned to see me. His face was red and he seemed to be surprised. Aslan shook his head as I took out my sword.

"It's Peter's battle," he said.

"It's Peter's battle!" said Maugrim in the imitation of Aslan

"Oh shut up," I said fiercely.  "Or I'll murder you!"

"Isn't it the little king's battle?" Maugrim taunted. "Who are you anyway to the queen? An orphan. An orphan of deathly powers."

"Don't call her that!" Susan Pevensie shrieked from the tree.

"Deathly powers that can kill everyone in Narnia in a blink of an eye, Maugrim," I said testily. "If you want, I can show you."

"It's Peter's battle!" Aslan repeated.

"Then go, slit their throats!" I roared at Peter.

"What is your answer, boy?" Maugrim sneered. "What'll it be?"

Peter still didn't answer, but I could see his grip tighten on the sword.

"I can't wait forever boy!" Maugrim roared, taking a step toward Peter.

Peter still didn't answer, but I could see his grip tighten even more on the sword.

"What'll it be?" Maugrim asked.

Then, without waiting for an answer, Maugrim leaped onto Peter. I gasped, stumbling back.

"PETER!" Lucy and Susan hollered. They both leaped down from the tree and rushed up to Peter. Shoving Maugrim out of the way, Susan had tears in her eyes. To everyone's surprise, Peter got up.

"Peter," Lucy sobbed as she and Susan hugged her oldest brother. I could see a sword stuck in Maugrim's chest. Aslan released the wolf he was holding under his paw. The wolf and the other wolves hurried off, squirming in pain.

"Follow them," Aslan said to Oreius and the other centaurs, "they'll lead you to Edmund."

The centaurs nodded swiftly before running after them. Aslan turned to Peter as he took his sword of dead Maugrim's chest.

"Come here, Peter."

Peter looked up at me as he went to Aslan. He stuck his sword in the grass in front of him. Aslan put a paw on his shoulder.

"You may rise, Sir Peter Wolfsbane Knight of Narnia," Aslan said a minute later.

Exactly a second later, there was another ear piercing scream. I know that scream.

"Daphne!" I yelled as I turned around, panicking. Oh why was it always my sister?

Daphne yelled again. This time, I sighed and ran toward the voice. Judging by the footsteps behind me, Peter, Susan, Lucy, and Aslan were following.

When we reached her voice, I looked up. There was a tall beast holding Daphne by the arm. Daphne kept yelling, "Let me go, you monstrous beast! My sister will murder you!"

"Daphne!" I yelled, "what're you doing here?"

Daphne looked down, and her face filled with joy. "Oh, El! Please please please please please save me from this idiotic beast!"

"Want me to kill it?" Peter asked.

"It's Eleanor's battle, Peter. And after all, she's the Evans' daughter," replied Aslan.

Taking out my sword, I hollered at the beast, "Leave my sister, troll! Or I'll do something I don't want to do!"

The troll stared blankly down at me, still wiggling Daphne, who was still screaming. Peter, Susan, and Lucy stared at me too.

"DO SOMETHING, ELEANOR! DO SOMETHING!" Daphne shouted.

The troll put a hand down and grabbed Lucy.

"LUCY!" Susan shrieked. "OH DO SOMETHING!"

I looked up at Daphne and nodded. She waved her hand behind her back. A tree extended and I hopped up on it.

"NOW!" I shouted.

Daphne grabbed her dagger and threw it to me, which extended as I caught it.

"This is last chance, troll!" I shouted. "Drop the girls or die!"

The troll didn't seem to understand.

"JUST KILL HIM!" Daphne roared.

I sighed as the tree extended even more. Muttering swear words at Daphne for being irresponsible, I cut the troll's head. It moaned in pain as he shook both of its hands. Lucy and Daphne shrieked. I could hear Susan sobbing.

"Quick, Daph!" I yelled as the troll fell down.

Daphne and I were caught by her branches but Lucy was still falling.

"Lucy!" Peter and Susan yelled.

Controlling my mind, I quietly said, "Now."

In a flash a wave of water hurried beneath Lucy, catching her in midair. Lucy didn't drown. It was like she was on the water. I smiled at Daphne as her branches lowered her down.

"Get her down from there!" Susan sobbed at me. "Please!"

"Leave," I said calmly to the water.

It seemed like the water understood. The water dropped Lucy on the floor and sank into the Earth. While Susan and Peter were hugging Lucy, I turned to Daphne.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked her angrily. "Why can't you just do something when you're told to do it?"

"I'm sorry," Daphne said as she rushed up to hug me.  "I'll never do it again, I promise."
