The end of the world. You don't think about it much, until you know what it looks like. What time, where, when? You don't know. But you know it will happen. The worst part is, you go through it more than once. You can't escape it, if you try, it just comes back to you. And when no one believes you? It's even worse to get around. It's like a constant nightmare — you fear the people around you, you fear the things around you, and you fear the time around you. It's a matter of seconds. It's easy to remember what happens right before, but anything can trigger that. The sounds come out of no where, the fire flashes before your eyes, and you can't run from it. It takes over.

It's not peaceful, either. It's like this gut feeling you have, maybe before walking in somewhere important. Like the throne room, to face the King. Or in battle, when you don't know if you'll make it back to your loved ones. During the end of the world, it certainly doesn't matter. Everyone is gone. Everything. You have no chance to go back. You can't say goodbye, you can't caress their forehead. All you can do is wait for it to take over you. It's a matter of chance when you go.

Walking down the halls, heels clicking on the floor. The skirt you wear, with the long train, slowly drags along the floor. Your hair in the wind you create while you walk with books back to the library. It's quite, too quiet. But nothing seems to be going on, just guards standing about, waiting for something to happen. It never does, they just stand there all day. You put the books back, looking around and grabbing a few more. It's not always fun being a royal advisor — walking back and forth from library to throne room. But you do your job, so you don't get killed.

Heels clacking once again as you travel back down the hallway you came to the room with the gold thrones. You walk to a podium and set the books down. Someone speaks, and you look over. Rhys — Prince Asch's advisor. No one knew, but you were together. Love is... rare, but also not fond of on Daemos. You didn't know if it was love, but it was something. Something you didn't feel for anyone else.

But as the day dragged on, your eyes got heavier. Your feet became weaker, but you held your head high and continued your duties. It would be the last time you saw the dark blue horned man, but you didn't know that. It was just another 'I will see him tonight' type of day. Time wasn't something you were allowed to worry about, but through the windows, Daemos got darker. But not dark enough yet — not the eternal dark.

Your stomach started hurting, but you didn't mention it. You never got sick, so this could be one other thing — a gut feeling. Gut feelings are bad, almost always. As a Daemos who could tell the future, you tried not to look towards it, but your gut always deceived you. It didn't stop you, though. Nothing could stop your work — studying. Until a guards, metal clanking together, ran by the room you sat in. You hurried to get out of your chair, scurrying to the door. The ground shook beneath you, and you something bad was happening.

Your feet took you down the halls, down to the main floor, where people ran around, panicking. Your gut feeling was right — something bad was happening. But as you tried to look into the future, aftermath, nothing was there. So you followed the people outside, only to see flames in the sky. Daemos was one planet in your universe, planets existed all around you. But you had never seen flaming stars — at least not flaming in this way. Bright red and orange, flying through the sky.

The General, one of your friends, came over and spoke, but you couldn't form words. He may have asked you what was happening, what was going to happen. Your eyes stayed on the sky as the screams around you got louder, and booming noises came from around you. The General put his arm around your waist, his sword in front you both, but it wouldn't protect you from what was happening. Not this time.

As the booming got closer, the ground shook violently. You could barely stay your feet. And then you knew what was happening. So, as the fear took over, you stayed still, until the last moment. It was scary, until it became peaceful. Many didn't live as long as you. When the final blow happened — your planet exploding — it threw you into the atmosphere with the chunk you stood on. You and the General were separated, and in your final moments, you were alone.

As it slowed, and it all became black, it was quite beautiful. The remains of the purple planet, the fire it caused, and the people fading from your vision.Your body was at peace, and in a moment, it was all gone. It didn't hurt, you were calm, and your body disappeared, leaving you in an eternal peace.

I jerked up and gasped, slightly screaming out in pain. Tears wet my face, and I was still here. Rhys sat up next to me and his arms held me tight. I cried out into his chest. "It happened again.." I cried.

"Shh, shh, you're awake, you're alive," he soothed, and brushed my hair with his hands. We sat like that for a moment while I felt the pain throughout my body. It didn't hurt then, but it hurts now. And honestly, the pain might be better then feeling nothing.

He laid me back down and pulled me close. As I calmed down, and got tired, I told him, "I promise, when I feel that gut feeling, I'll come find you, just to say I love you once again..."

"I know..."
