" hey you okay ?". Sunwoo asked passing him a doughnut which haknyeon gladly accepted. Sunwoo had noticed how lost his hyung was and was worried.

Haknyeon never was in a slump and absolutely was very bright. And mentally there. Haknyeon chuckled and nodded " Of course , why would I not be fine ?".

Sunwoo raised an eyebrow , not at all impressed at his lie. Haknyein chuckled before sighing " I can't trick you ".and looked straight, he stood straight " that day at the mission , i saw a girl , she directed me away from getting caught ".

Sunwoo looked at him , interested, ' sad she wouldn't see tomorrow ". haknyeon was a cold person when it came to his work , it wasn't anything entirely new if the person who came in his path would be injured , at times even fatal. Haknyeon finished the doughnut and looked at sunwoo , an indescribable expression on his face.

" that's the thing sunwoo , i couldn't pull the trigger , i couldn't even lift it ".and with that he walked in leaving sunwoo shocked. A small smile formed on his lips " could it be true our coldest member has someone he is interested in''. he chuckled , this would definitely be interesting.

On the day of stealing the last jewel came closer , haknyeon tried his best to forget about her , exercising , jogging , munching on food . Sangyeon commented, " I was worried about his slump, now I'm worried he's overworking ".

Jacob sighed " he's looking good though ?".and went back to eating his cereal leaving sangyeon alone " my god , how did i end up being the leader'' .and walked away.

As the day rolled by , haknyeon wondered if he would find her. Sighing , haknyeon followed the others as they reached the venue. His eyes moving across the crowded gala , he scoffed in annoyance , how was annoyance , how was he supposed to find her among the masked girls?

What even set her apart from the others? He cursed mentally , he should have observed her more , tried to catch some small details. But no , there wasn't that much time .

" We have to set aside the mission , that place is heavily guarded ,move around until I say it's clear ". Jacob spoke in his ears as haknyeon found himself amidst the various couples dancing. If he wasn't wearing a mask , anyone could have seen the irritation on his face .

His dark eyes moved bored , until it fell on a young lady , he presumed since she didn't look old. The girl was clad in a white dress , tight at her torso and flowing from her hips , she wore a white mask decorated with gems. Haknyeon felt captured by her mere presence. Her eyes met his and haknyeon willingly took a step forward.as the girl kept on maintaining eye contact.

" Hak god don't look so obvious ". Eric said as he passed by him , a small teasing smirk on his face. Haknyeon glared at the younger male and moved towards the bar , ordering a drink as he leaned on the bar stand , staring at the girl who wasn't looking up from her drink.

Haknyeon monitored her movements as well as his members , he was on a mission not on a date , or on a search for girlfriends. He occasionally stared at her , biting his lips whenever a male passed by her. As a man approached her , haknyeon watched.

He scoffed when he saw that guy was trying to make her uncomfortable as he casually touched her as the girl tried avoiding him. Drowning his drink down quickly , he placed the glass back on the counter , making his way.

" can you please leave me alone ?". He heard the girl say as the man responded " playing hard aren't you? Where's your boyfriend love ". his hands going down.

Before the man could place it anywhere , haknyeon grabbed it tightly , a death stare on his face as he slightly tilted his head " im her boyfriend , the name is Haknyeon ". a sick smile on his face as he challenged the guy . the man blinked and scurried away without saying anything.

He turned around to look at the girl , " you....you were the one that day ".

The girl jolted and nodded " yes me...". Haknyeon was about to say something else when]

" ummm...guys go time ,"he mentally cursed his luck.

" What's your name ?".

" Lee Y/N ". The girl responded , opening her mouth to ask the same thing but by then haknyeon was already gone.

" I WAS SO CLOSE '. you screamed as you threw your poor plushie across the room. You met him but he disappeared so quickly. You couldn't see his face , the reason , a stupid mask. You hated your life.

You plopped down on your bed , a sigh escaping your lips ' haknyeon '. at least you had his name. You rolled on your bed. How could you find him ? you could put some ninja skills or ask around. But considering you were aware of the fcat he was a stealer , asking around blindly might be dangerous.

You thought about how he stood in front of you , you groaned . this isn't some fairy tail , sometimes the chances of you meeting again was dim. But you should try .

" where can i find information about him ?". You mumbled as you got up , sitting in front of your laptop , typing in the stealers. You should have listened to your dad when he said to read the newspaper. Unfortunately , after an hour of research and totally lowkey stalking , you couldn't find any information about the members except for their names.

You expected that , they were criminals but god damn. You slammed your laptop before mummering a small " sorry laptop ". and closed your eyes as you felt tiredness come over you. You did have a busy day , after he left you alone , a few minutes passed before the alarm rang , you had walked out before anyone could block you.

Lying on your bed , you hugged your pillow as your phone buzzed as you lazily picked it up , your eyes widening.
