Zhan can clearly see a big mansion in the middle of an island. It was secluded and he can only see that no other buildings or infrastructures surrounds the area.
He didn't get it. A helicopter was a wiser choice for them to take and not a jet. Yet, Yibo chose a jet. Reason? He might fall from the helicopter. He doesn't know if he will be piss by Yibo's lame reasoning or would choose to be happy, that Yibo's top priority was his safety.
"Be careful"
He nodded his head. The alpha assisted him when they were descending the stairs.
There was something odd about what had happened earlier. The way Yibo maneuvered his car inside the tunnel was different. It was simply fast, yet it's odd. There's no reason for him to be that near, aligning his car on that same red car, then pulled back when they passed through the tunnel.
Another thing, Yibo's men disappeared when he looked back to checked them. But they weren't tailing them anymore. He was reluctant to ask Yibo, about what was happening. He knows, his instinct tells him, that it was related to them, receiving threats.
Yibo was doing all he can, to protect him, them (twins). His alpha is a tough guy, he can clearly see that. But though, he's a tough one, he had to rely on him, his mate.
So he grabbed Yibo by the arm and embraced him, and said "You can rely on me, baby. I know something was happening. I know there's still a threat. Tell me what to do and I will cooperate"
Yibo was taken aback by that. He thought that Zhan was clueless. He underestimated his mate. After all, Zhan was an alpha before he became an omega.
He cupped the latter's face and whispered "All I need you to do is to be safe. I cannot tell you the details yet. I need some time. When the right time comes. I will tell you everything"
Zhan frowned but nodded his head. All he have to do was to be obedient. But that doesn't mean, that he won't make a move. Of course, he wouldn't become a burden to him.
He keep his mouth shut and let Yibo assisted him, going all the way to the front door. Yibo was indeed a rich man, born with a silver spoon. Yibo can become narcissistic or prideful sometimes. But who cares? He had the right to brag. He's handsome, talented, and wealthy, very wealthy.
Zhan dislikes those in the past. But now? He likes it. But not to the extent that Yibo will become unreasonable and be a shit. He cannot let that happen. If he had to give him some beating, he'll do that.
"Why are you laughing? What's the matter?"- Yibo asked. Zhan was becoming weird.
All of a sudden, he started laughing. Though there's no reason for him to do that. But the omega shook his head and smiled at Yibo, like he always does, in the past.
