she felt an instant solace, the pain slowly ebbing away and a set of words soon bloomed in place of the former. it was as if a soothing breeze ran through her being as she relaxed into her friend's arms, who pulled her closer. she tore away from the embrace and saw them holding the cure. she looked at the wound which was now merely a scar, with words written in delicate handwriting, much too different from her sister's crude carving. the words giving her hope and determination.
"love yourself first. you carry so much love in your heart, give some to yourself. then we'll see if you have to 'get over it' later."
