*2 Days Later*
Peace and quiet. It's one of the best things in the world until, I wake up from my nap to pounding on the door. I go up and open it. Meghan. "Uh hi I didn't-" she interrupts me by hugging me. I just stand there confused. She pulls back and sniffs.
"I had no idea you felt like that. I'd be lying if I said you were wrong. I really don't know anything about death and for you to experience it with the 2 people that made you. I don't even want to imagine anything close to that happening to my parents." She frowns
I just stand still as she grabs her suitcase and comes in. "I know we haven't talked in weeks but you need help. And I'm sorry for how I yelled at you, I'm glad you took pity on Justin, giving that little girl no father is just sad. I did some research and it's true, she does have cancer. She has Leukemia and I kinda already took enough money for your car and payed for the rest of the year for her treatments, from his dads account, I did hide it though so his dad doesn't see that it went to her." She admits.
"I wonder why he wasnt paying them in the first place." I say. "I had Dustin check their phone records and shit because I was bored and their last text convo Justin getting disowned."
I chuckle. "Imagine getting disowned through text." She laughs as she puts all of her hair and makeup equipment on the bathroom counter. "Why are you... TONYS GALA!" I yell.
"Landon said you needed help and its in 5 hours, and he told me to tell you to go see him. So off you go. I'll get everything ready." She shoos me off and starts unpacking different dresses and shoes and a whole bag of jewelry.
I knock on Landon's door and go in. "You wanted to see me?" He turns around and smiles. He comes over to me. "I wanted to apologize I was dick." He says and I laugh. "It's okay I know you didn't mean it In a rude way. I wasn't being completely kind so you either.." He nods and smiles. "I have a gift." He says and goes to his closet and pulls out a big box.
I look at him with confusion. "What is this?" He sets it on his bed and I open it. It's a dress. "I know nothing of fashion so I asked Sarah for some help, and we went shopping because I wanted to surprise you. It was super expensive but Sarah said it was 'a bang for your buck' whatever that means."
I'm speechless. It's a black dress with one sleeve on the left arm with a slit in on right leg with a Diamond belt in the box . "I- Landon this is.." I'm interrupted. "Are you guys having se- Oh my god!" Meghan comes in and gasps when she sees the dress. "Oh my god! This is gorgeous is it designer?" He asks. "Uh that's a Sarah question." He says awkwardly and we laugh.
"Okay thank you, gotta go!" She pulls me and grabs the dress and we go get ready. "I feel like a mom getting my daughter for prom." She says as she's doing my hair.
