"So Lucas," Iris asked nonchalantly as they walked out of their English 101 class. "How's the girlfriend?" she smirked looking up at Luke, clutching her books in her hands. Luke scratched the back of his neck as he licked his lips, chuckling nervously as he continued walking. "She's uh... still in Canada," he said chewing on his lip.

Iris chuckled as he looked around nervously. "So what's the deal with that stupid English paper? I mean who does he think he's kidding with a 15 page report," Luke said, flailing his arms around his head, a few papers catching the wind.

He groaned outwardly as Iris giggled. "You're such a loser!" she said laughing. "You're the loser, loser!" Iris rolled her eyes playfully. "Says the person who has a girlfriend who lives in Canada!" Luke crossed his arms, forgetting the most likely important papers as his face got red. "You don't have a boyfriend, so why are you mad that I have a lovely long-distance relationship?"

Iris pursed her lips, as she started walking towards her car. "Hey it's my choice to not have one of those!" Luke laughed walking towards her throwing his bag into the backseat of Iris's black car. Iris slid into the drivers seat, turning her car on as Luke bumped his head on the top of the car.

"Plus, I don't need some weird college guy, who does things that are weird and inappropriate and yeah," Iris rambled. Luke chuckled. "Oh whatever," Iris said laughing, driving silently.

"You can't just consciously decide that eating snails is a good idea," Luke said walking into the dorm lobby. "You've never been to France so you wouldn't know," said Iris as Michael clambered in with Calum.

"Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys," Calum said. "I have a great idea," he said smiling. They all rolled their eyes setting their stuff down as they all sat. "This isn't like the time where you lit a ladybug on fire in seventh grade and called it 'The Burn Bug,'?" Michael said. "Or the time that you made out with Lacey Test in sophomore year and suggested you film it?" Luke said. "Or the time in third grade where you told the teacher we should dissect snakes instead of frogs, and Milton Lloyd fainted?" Iris said.

"The kid was afraid of grass, leave me alone!" Calum exclaimed. They all laughed as Calum stood up. "We should all go to a party. I heard Flint is gonna be there," Calum said smirking at Iris. She rolled her eyes, crossing her legs and looking down. "He's dating Marissa," she said. "Plus, I heard he has um... problems in the bedroom department," Iris said laughing as they all fell back in laughter. "Isn't your room mate going Calum?" Luke asked. "Yeah, but I haven't talked to him much he seems kind of off," he said chuckling.

"He's probably just nervous," Luke said. "You should talk to him. If you establish a healthy relationship you could become great friends and-" Michael rolled his eyes. "Luke, shut up," he said laughing.

"Sorry," Luke said laughing.

"Should we like order a pizza or something?" Iris asked, plucking a split end from the bottom of her hair. "I think we can probably just hang out in Calum's room or something. What's your room mates name again? Ashley? Ace? I don't know you told me in psychology his name," Iris said blushing slightly.

"His name is Ashton and he's really weird. Like really, really weird. He brings these weird like sticks into the room and runs around saying it's being cleansed. I think they're said sticks? I don't know something like that," Calum said.

"Sage sticks," Michael said. "What?" Calum asked. "Sage sticks, they're used for like cleansing of the soul or something, my mom used them when I was younger," he said, scratching the back of his neck. "So I'll order the pizza..." Iris said, "and Calum can get whatever alcohol he feels like bringing because we all know he's gonna bring it anyways."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Calum said, placing a fake look of hurt on his features. "That you get drunk on a daily basis and I'm the only person whoever says anything about it," Iris said. "You do get drunk a lot Calum," Luke said chuckling as Calum crossed his arms, throwing a fake tantrum. "Ugh mom! You never let me do anything I want!" he exclaimed as they all laughed.

"Is your weird sage friend gonna be there Calum?" Michael asked. "I don't know, he might be gone for the week, considering it is spring break," Calum said. "Speaking of which, I need to get started on that English paper," Luke said, standing up and wiping his hands on his jeans, grabbing his backpack and heading towards the door. "Lukey come to the party thingggg," Iris said walking to him, and grabbing his wrist, brushing his fingers slightly.

Luke blushed, clearing his throat and turning around, his heart racing. He should of grabbed her hand. "What Iris?" he said smiling. She smiled back, tossing her hair over her shoulder. "Come and hang out with us, you have the whole entire week to work on that paper."

He nodded, his breath staggering, "Fine."
