Chapter 3

Snow's POV

It's been a month at lahat lang trabaho ang pinagkakaabalahan ko. Well, wala naman talaga kong ibang pagkaka-abalahan besides work. I'm on my way to Shang with Sky to meet Vianca, my best friend since High School. She's here for a short vacation dahil sa NY ang base niya. After 3 years ngayong lang ulit kami magkikita dahil puro video calls lang kami. Vianca is already waiting inside kaya binigay ko nalang sa valet attendant ang susi ng sasakyan.

"SNOOOOOOOOOOOW" nasa bungad palang ako rinig na rinig ko na si Vianca. 

"Heyyy. I missed you. It's been 3 years Via."

"Yes and we have a lot of chika to tell. Take a seat. Hi baby Sky, you're still very small and adorable." Kinuha ni Vianca si Sky. We had a lunch and as expected sobrang dami ng kwento ni Via. Ever since High School, naging close ko siya dahil sa nonstop na kwento niya. Maybe because nakakarelate kami sa isa't-isa dahil kami lang ang Pilipino sa klase. 

"Philippines changed a lot  no? parang dumami ang naglalakihang building at kasabay dumami ang snatcher. Imagine, kakalabas ko lang ng airport at nag-aantay ng sundo ko papuntang hotel pero winelcome ako ng snatcher. I lost my wallet, good thing the cards are on a separate holder."

"You should have texted me para ako na ang sumundo sayo. You can even stay in my condo. Kami lang naman ni Sky doon."

"It's fine. I know you're too busy dahil marami kang shoots."

"Naireport mo na ba sa police station ang pagsnatch sayo?" though alam kong hindi naman big deal sakanya yun dahil nasa kanya padin ang cards niya.

"OMGGGGG. Here's the positive side of that. I was not even planning to report the incident dahil ang importante naman is safe ako and my cards are with me, but a pogi superhero came. He helped me report to the nearest police station and accompanied me going to the hotel dahil hindi ko na nga inantay ang sundo ko."

"And you trusted him that fast? Baka nga siya pa ang snatcher dun eh." Possible naman diba? Marami kayang ganun sa movie.

"Hey Snow Everleigh! Don't you dare accuse my superhero. He can't snatch me because he is a cop okay? Sinisira mo naman yung mood ko eh."

"Oh, I'm sorry. Well then, I just hope he is really nice because not all cops are nice." tinaasan ko pa siya ng kilay. Basta gwapo ang bilis pagtiwalaan. 

"You know what? He ask for my number and told me that he will call me."

"Yeah. Call you when he traced the snatcher. Hay Via, ipapaalala ko lang ha, nagbakasyon ka dahil nagmomove-on ka sa fiancee mo na niloko ka. Look at you now, don't be deceived by looks okay? I don't want to hear your cries and rants about a guy anymore so please be careful." 

"Snow! I only told you that he is gwapo. I didn't tell you that I like him."

"Dun na din pupunta  yun kaya habang maaga pa pinapaalalahanan na kita."

After the long chikahan at barahan namin ni Via nagdecide siyang mag shopping. Of course walang aayaw, matagal tagal na din akong hindi nakakalabas masyado dahil masyadong mahigpit si Steff. I also want to buy some clothes para sa shoots dahil ayoko namang iasa nalang lahat sa wardrobe.

"Here. I think this will look good on you Snow. Come on, try it." I entered the fitting room and tried the clothes.

"I told you it will look good on you. How I wish that I also have that sexy back of yours. Clothes looks more beautiful when you wear it. Sabagay kahit naman yata maghubad ka maganda ka padin."

"Hey! Watch your mouth." Ang lakas ng boses ni Via. I know for sure na rinig siya ng mga nasa tabi namin. 

I was about to take a step to pay for my clothes when someone accidentally hit my right arm.

"My goodness. I'm so sorry hija. Hindi ko sinasadya. My God I'm so sorry." hinawakan niya ang right arm ko na parang tinitignan kung nasugatan ba o ano.

"It's okay po. Hindi naman po masakit." I smiled at her. She is a middle-aged lady, she looks sophisticated but kind. 

"Hindi ko sinasadya Hija. By the way, I'm Mrs. Connie Asturias. You look very familiar to me. You look like the lady on a magazine I browsed just this morning. Do you just have resemblance with her or it's really you?" She gave me a genuine smile.

"Oh. it's really her" Vianca proudly stated. Nakakahiya. baka isipin niya pinagyayabang namin.

"I'm Snow po. and I think it's me whom you saw on the magazine." I smiled shyly.

"Oh My God. I was right. You are indeed very beautiful. and your friend too." She smiled.

"Thank you so much po." 

"Would you mind if I invite you for a coffee? but if you two have other plans it's okay."

We have no plans after this so  maybe we can have a coffee with you ma'am." Via answered immediately. Ano bang nakain nito? wala kaming ibang plano pero nakakahiya.

Since I got no choice, after paying pumunta kami sa coffee shop. Mrs. Asturias looks nice so we won't mind.

"You know how I got that magazine of yours? My only daughter idolizes you so much that she makes sure that she'll have a copy of your magazine on the first day it was released." natatawa na sabi ni Mrs. Asturias. Mostly ako ang kausap niya dahil si Via ay nakikipaglaro kay Sky. Siya naman ang pumayag pero ako ang hinayaan dito. Haaay Via.

"Oh. Thank you very much po Mrs. Asturias, regards with your daughter po." 

"Just call me tita, Snow. Would it be okay kung papuntahin ko ang anak ko dito? this will make her really happy or more than that."

"Sure po. Wala pong problema."

"Don't worry malapit lang siya dito. At sigurado akong magmamadali yun dahil sinabi kong kasama kita. She don't even believe me. That kid haynako halos lahat yata ng agazine at mga damit na iminodel mo binili na niya. As for me hindi ko naman siya binabawalan lalo pa ngayon that I met you and knew how beautiful and pleasant you are." Sasagot na sana ako ng biglang may narinig akong sigaw.

"MOMMMMYYYYYYY. OMG it's really true. How did you meet her mom? I should have accompany you and not kuya para matagal ko kayong nakasama. Hi ate Snow, My name is Cloudy and if mom haven't told you yet, I idolize you so much. I even buy everything you promote. You're very pretty." She even hugged me while stating those things. She's very beautiful too and has a bubbly personality that makes her really cute.

"Hi, nice to meet you. You're very beautiful. This is my friend Vianca and my baby Sky."

"Sky?" nagulat na naguguluhang tanong ni Cloudy.

"Yes, the dog." I smiled.

"Ohh, you have a very nice dog and the name suits him." natatawang sabi ni Snow, even her mom slightly laugh. Weird.

Medyo matagal kaming nag-usap usap. They even invited me to come over to their house and have a dinner with Via and Sky pero medyo pagabi na rin kaya tumanggi na kami. Cloudy is very buubly, in just an hour it feels like I know her so much dahil sa dami ng naikwento niya. She even invited us for her debut and ask for my number para macontact niya ko. I didn't hesitate to give them mine dahil wala naman silang pinakitang hindi maganda.

"Mom, kuya will fetch us so let's just wait here."

"Cloud I told you not to bother your Kuya dahil busy yun sa trabaho."

"Nope. He has to be here, we are ladies so he must protect  us." mataray na pagkakasabi ni Cloudy. Haynakoo spoiled but cute. We waited for their car. 

"He's here. There oh." tinuro pa ni Cloudy and sasakyan, they're super rich for sure, Tesla is a luxury car after all.

Aantayin pa sana namin ang anak ni Mrs. Asturias pero nagmamadali na si Via dahil kailanagn niya ng mag-CR kaya kailangan na naming maunang umalis. Binigay na din samin ng valet attendant ang susi ng sasakyan ko.  We said goodbyes to Mrs. Asturias and Cloudy na ayaw pa sana kaming paalisin pero nagmamadali na si Via.

I drove the car to our condo dahil dun na din naisipang matulog ni Via. This has been a tiring day but I guess what's important is  I did something that will make my heart HAPPY =)
