Chapter 7.

kring! Kring! Kring!

Umji woken up by the sound of her ringing clock. She frowned. "It's already 4 pm.....I should get to work now". The girl headed to the bathroom to take a shower and get herself ready. She have to go for her part-time job at the cafe today.

On her way to the cafe. She was wondering why this evening feels like night. Then she looks up to the sky. "Oh no is it gonna rain" she saw those dark clouds already painted the sky. "I guess I have to ride the taxi". 10-minutes later, the girl arrived at the cafe. "Oh anyeong Umji-yah" she was greeted by a tall girl with big smile on her face. "Anyeong too Momo unnie". The girl named Momo have been working at the cafe for 2 years. She was a happy go lucky girl. "Woah there are many customers for today" said Umji as she saw almost all the table inside the cafe is full. "Probably because of the rain but we should be thankful right Umji-yah and hurry up go get your apron cutie" said Momo while pinching Umji's cheeks. "al-alright unnie".

Hours had passed. "Uhm...unnie can I go home early today...I have some very important things to do plus I'm sacred the rain will get heavier" said Umji as she look outside. "Sure cutie" replied Momo. Umji headed to the staff's room to take off her apron. She take a quick glance at the clock that shows 9:55 pm. "I hope the rain is not getting heavier" she muttered. As she walks out from the room she saw someone familiar. "w-wait isn't that.....Suga! Omo!!!". She became nervous and scared. She was worried if Suga finds out she was working there. What should I do, I really don't want him to see me and knew I worked here because what if he's planning something bad or worst could risk my job! She thought. Her mind busy straggling with those thoughts that she didn't realize the thing she definitely didn't want to happen happened. Suga was looking at her now.

"Yah what are you doing?" his voice showering Umji with realization. "Omo!!" she almost fell behind. Her chestal area hurts a little bit because of the sudden thunder of shock. She try to calm herself first before beginning to speak. "s-suga sunbae....uhm I.....I just..." "She was about to go home" Momo interrupted her. "Ohw so you work here?". Umji bite her lip. Should she just tell the truth or lie and she chose the first one. "Uhm...as a part timer only" said Umji nervously. Her palm turn white as she folded it too tight. OMG! OMG! OMG! what will happen now she thought. The boy look at the outside for a few seconds. "It's already dark and raining...". Then that boy set his eyes back at the girl . "Come let me walk you home" said Suga. "eh!!!!!" she is surprised. She honestly didn't expected this. She was worried sick for Suga to do something that will make her lost her job but no. He did the unexpected one.

"Yah you're hurting my ears". "I am so sorry sunbae....but...uhm I will just take the taxi" said Umji stuttered. "I didn't ask you this is an order". He quickly grab her hand and drag her out from the cafe.

On the way back home, they both walk in silent under an umbrella owned by Suga. In Umji's side, she doesn't speak because she was still surprised of what Suga just did. Didn't I have make him angry at the school today and he even send me a threat. Her mind filled with questions while her heart is thumping well not until she remembered her conversation with Sowon about the 'what if he want to kill her'. Her heart drop death. Her body froze. Suga realized Umji didn't move anymore so he looks at her. "Yah what's wrong with you". The girl stays quiet. She was looking at the wet ground. "Yah are you deaf" he's annoyed. Suddenly Umji ran as fast as she can. She didn't care about the rain or people who stare at her like she an insane person anymore. In fact, she didn't care anything at all. The only thing in her head right now is to save her life. "I STILL WANT TO LIVE!!" she screamed.
