Megumi was known to be a stoic, cold-hearted bully. Everyone feared him, not that he minds it.

But behind all that is a caring man

He's two years in before becoming an official and certified doctor. He never told you what kind of doctor but he promised he'll be the one treating you, he's too over-protective when it comes to you and tends to not trust anyone when it comes to you, beside his step-sister of course. Even if you know it's gonna take long, you still waited. medicines were given to you to delay the damage. It sounds stupid, and you know it, but, you love him and he's been working and studying for this. It's his decision to be a doctor but it was also because of you as well.

Sitting on your bed, strumming on your guitar that was gifted by megumi. Since you'll be completely blind soon, why not play a song, right?

"Y/n-chan? Do you need anything else?" Megumi's sister asked

"Ah, no, it's fine nee-chan" you were feeling quite bashful at all the nice actions she's given you.

"Dad's on his way here to pick me up, are you sure you'll be alright?" Tsumiki asked once again with the sweetest smile

"Yep!~" I chimed 'I feel like a burden to you'   "I'm fine, I have everything I need so.. you can go now" I smiled

"Alright then, I'll tell your sister that you're doing fine"

"Could you tell her that I want to see her..? I know she's busy but.. I barely see her.. even before my eye sight were damaged.."

She pats my head "sure thing"

"Thank you"

1:00 am, still awake, well,  you were woken up by a nurse to check up on you, especially your eyes. He brought you to their testing room and examined your eyes, checking if there are changes or delay to the damage. Sadly. There isn't which worried the doctor, but as to their protocol, they are to not tell you anything. Fear isn't something most patients would want, they need reassurance, although they need to tell the problem and how they will be able to cure it.

Now you're in your room, vision quite blurry but not that much.. yet

Phone turning off, you immediately answered the call, not even checking who it is.

"Y/n?" Megumi

"Gum-chan? Why are you still up?"

"Studying" he sighed, you can clearly hear the frustration and stress

"Hey, I'll hang up..."

"What? Dont-"

"I will if you don't rest.. just go to sleep for a moment, I swear when you wake up, I'm still on the phone"

It stayed silent before he sighed once again "fine.. but, how's your eyes? Is there any disruption? Pain? Are you seeing halos in your vision?---"

"Megumi, please rest, okay? And I'm doing great, hearing your voice makes is more better" I chuckled and so did he

"Alright, I might be able to visit this weekends"

"Im LOOKING forward to it" I attempted to make a pun making him laugh

"You really have a bad sense of humor"

"But still you laughed"

"Yeah yeah" he chuckled "I'll hang up now, take care, love you"
