Laughter Through Tears

Centaurea cyanus

It is easy to smile when life flows by like a song, 

but hardly anyone sees the tears behind 

the smile when everything goes dead wrong. 

For the rest of the world is nothing, just pleasant.

 But for the test of the heart is trouble. 

They say there is a reason. 

They say that time will heal. 

For now, smile through the tears because

 that is worth the praises of the earth.

 And therefore, 

Laughter through tears is 

my favorite emotion!
