With a sad smile on her face, the fading figure spoke in a pained tone,
"To be killed by someone you would have given up your life for, is nothing but a painful conversion of years of happy moments into something totally horrendous."-------※※※※--------
A weird situation where the mind goes blank with too many questions crowding in it, is enough to push anyone into a state of panic but that wasnt the case with this demon.
Here she was standing in a dark yet an oddly familiar room with a calm aura, easily pushing all her worries away.
The area, she was now standing in, would have submerged in pure obscurity, had it not been for the huge chandelier hanging from the roof in the middle of the room.A familiar chandelier which screamed all things royalty hanged above a long dining table and this was enough to make her intrigued as she decided to venture further into the partially lit place.
Her legs began to move on their own as she invested all her concentration in trying to recognise the place she has suddenly landed in.
Soon enough she was able to make out the area to be the dining hall of the palace, a place which granted
their souls a blessing in the form of food, every single day.But something was different. The place on its own was the same, but the interiors didn't really match to what the now confused demon was used to see.
The wall to the right of the table had some part of it slightly illuminated by the chandelier, helping the demon's eyes to spot something. There in the middle of a series of wall lamps, was a large painting.
A painting which now had, icy blue eyes of an expressionless face fixed on it, waiting for an answer which was never expected to be received.
This expectation didn't really turn out to be true as a sudden movement behind her, caught her attention. With an unshaken demeanor, clenched fists and stable breathes, the unbothered demon turned around to find the other presence in the hall only to freeze at her spot with her mouth hanging open.
Nothing could have prepared her for what was about to come as a faint voice ringed in her ears,
"Welcome to our dream of reality, queen Viri.."

"There is a thin line between love and hate, my beloved. I, the queen of hell, have crossed this very line and now I would like to know, which side do you think I chose."
A huff escaped his soft lips, as his eyes took in the whole scene in front of him. His entire world was a blur as he just stood there in front of a woman he considered as his own.
A woman whom he loved and trusted with all his heart, whom he promised to cherish and in whose companionship he has grown to become the most loved king of the vast realm of hell. This very woman, his wife, was now slowly walking in circles around him, drowning him in an intense aura of what he now knew was hatred.
He couldn't decipher as to what caused this hatred but to say that he was shocked, would be a lie. He had seen this coming, noticing how his wife had started distancing herself from him, how she would throw skeptical gazes in his direction and how her soft lips stopped turning into the upward direction whenever she looked at him.
All of it made sense now and it was clear that she knew something. That something might be a secret which shouldn't have been discovered by her but now that it already is, it has planted a small seed in the queen's heart. The seed of hatred.
Despite the unavoidable situation before him, he had to try and know what was it that caused this sudden confrontation which has awarded him with the top most position on his wife's hitlist.
So he found himself reaching out to hold the fuming demon's wrist, yanking her towards himself without thinking twice because let's be honest, what could be worse than the hate glare he was receiving from the past several minutes? Nothing. Atleast he couldn't think of anything at that moment.
Looking into her eyes, he spoke with his deep yet soulful voice, "And I, your husband, have the full rights to know, what made you choose the side you are now standing on. So, would you please elaborate my queen?"
This innocent question was enough to make the woman chuckle, as she took several steps back, her right arm, which was earlier hidden behind her back was now stretched out beside her as the familiar blue flames made their entry.
With dark eyes fixed on the partially clueless king, her cold and chapped lips parted to voice out the words, she never wanted to speak, "I wish you had more time to listen to what I had to say, Tae.. But guess what? Thats not happening tonight." That being said, the queen of hell took her last few steps to blow out the only light of her world.

Verrat, treachery, trahison and betrayal. Different words with the same meaning and that is, breaking of trust within any kind of a relationship.
Here in their own world, this very perfidious expression is existing as a silent weapon. A weapon which is being sharpened to be used, to break the trust, and to overpower the loudest of voices.
But whose voice should actually be considered as the loudest, is still an unsolved mystery.
