Chapter 9: Hospital

He looked down and saw Natsu, she was bleeding, right out of her gut region. He looked up and noticed another person with a gun in front of them. There was two, two people decided to ruin everyone's day.

Before Hinata could reacted the person in front of them was tackled to the ground by a cop. They had gotten their quickly. Someone had called, and one of the new recruits was patrolling the area with another officer.

Immediately they heard sirens, police and ambulances.

"Sir? Sir!" Someone yelled at Hinata. He looked up with glossy eyes. The person saw Natsu in Hinata's hands and called for help. Three people ran over, taking the little girl from her brothers arms and trying to stop the bleeding.

Tsukkishima immediately pulled Hinata into a hug, letting the shorter cry.

"It's okay baby, she will be alright. Let's get back to your father and tell him," he picked up Hinata while whispering in his ear.

It took both Tsukkishima and Hinata half an hour to get to Kai's place. Tsukkishima was still holding his shorter boyfriend in his arms the whole way there. Not daring to let go.

Eventually along the walk to the shorter fathers place, the ginger fell asleep.
He had cried himself into slumber.

The tall blond had finally made it to the small home, knocking on the door he waited eagerly for the older to open the door. Once the door was open Tsukkishima immediately asked to come in.

"Where is Nastu?" Kai asked.

Before the blond answered he laid Hinata onto the couch. Looking up into Kais' eyes he spoke softly.

"We were having a normal picnic, like we had pla-planned. And these two people came out of nowhere and starred sh-shooting at things. Getting some people as well, Nasty being one of them," he took a small breath before starting again, "all three of us had gotten up and trued getting away. S-since we walked there we didn't get away fast enough. Shouyou was hold Natsu, a-and one of the guys shot her." At this point he was softly cry.

"IS NATSU OKAY?!" He raised his voice a little. He didn't mean to yell, but here his only son's boyfriend was telling him his little girl was shot. He felt tears coming to his eyes and sat down.

Kai stood up and walked over to Hinata, lightly shaking him awake. Hinata woke up and looked around, seeing his father he jumped into his arms and held him tightly. "Pa-papa?"

"Yes Shou?"

"I want Natsu," he said softly, he had gotten glossy eyes again. Kai was shushing him quietly while holding him tighter.

"Come one you two, we are going to the hospital," Tsukkishima got up and followed the taller male, (who was still holding Hinata), to his vehicle.

Kai had set his son down in the back seat and got in the driver seat. Tsukkishima got in the back with Hinata and held him.

Kai started up the car and put it in gear. Soft music from the radio was playing thought the long drive to the hospital. Thought the drive no one talked, the only thing heard was the soft music and occasional sob escaping from Hinata.

Slowly the car came to a stop at a red light. Kai turned around to check on Hinata and Tsukkishima. Deeming that they were semi-okay he turned back around, just in time for the light to turn green.

Kai took another right and pulled into the hospital parking lot. Quickly finding a spot, he stopped the car and got out. The two in the back following him, they all walked through the door and to the reception desk.
