Chapter 15

Luckily Yumi's heat ended earlier than she thought. Her mother then informed her that the first few heats are shorter. Yumi still didn't tell her about her mate, not wanting to talk so intimately with her.

Shinsou and Yumi went back to their dorms, making it in time for movie night in the dorms. The Dekusquad chose "Okko's Inn" to watch while Yumi, Sato, and Ojiro helped prepare snacks for everyone. This also led to Ojiro and Yumi repeatedly apologizing because their tails kept bumping into each other, while poor Sato was bumping into both tails while he made dessert.

The gang all sat on the couches and bean bag chairs for the movie. They squished together as Iida pressed play to the movie. Soon Sato, Ojiro, and Yumi arrived with the snacks. They spread them out on the table before picking seats. Yumi was about to grab a spot on the couch when she heard Shinsou.

"Yumi I save you a spot. It's big enough to share."

"Okay thanks Hitoshi!" She plopped down next to him before they snuggled close to each other. Kirishima choked on his soda as he witnessed what happened. Deku also choked on his popcorn, Ochako having informed him of the gossip a few days ago.

"HITOSHI?!?!?!" Multiple people screamed at the same time. Iida fumbled with the remote to pause the movie. Yumi was startled by their yell and she spilled some of her popcorn.

"Yeah?" Said Shinsou nonchalantly.

"Wait don't you guys hate each other?" Asked Koda, a little unaware of the gossip.

"We're dating now." Said Shinsou as he kissed the top of Yumi's head as confirmation.

"EH?!" They all yelled.

Mina and the girls fist bumped and cheered in celebration, making Yumi and Shinsou blush a little.

"Finally! God you two look so cute together!" Said Mina as she patted Yumi on the back.

The gang started their congratulations as Yumi's face got heated, preferring to bury her face in Shinsou's chest. He simply chuckled while saying a thanks to all the congratulations from the class. Iida decided that since things had quieted down he could finally press play to the movie. The whole class loved the movie and when it ended they slowly parted ways to their dorms. Yumi and Shinsou gave each other a quick peck before heading to their rooms.

Yumi took off her regular clothes and slipped into her pajamas: a light green tank top and black pajama shorts. She sighed, missing all those nights she got to sleep by Hitoshi's side. She pulled open the covers as she shook her head. She had to get used to sleeping alone again. Just as she was about to get in bed she heard a knock at the door. Confused, she walked over to open the door.

There was Shinsou, now dress in a plain white tank top and grey sweatpants. He looked a little flushed, a bit nervous too. His cheeks were tinted pink and he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Hitoshi? What's up?"

"Well...I kinda got used to cuddling every night with you. And, well, I was wondering....could you...s-sleep with me tonight?"

Yumi's eyes lit up, she ran to grab her phone and charger before standing in front of him once more.

"I'm ready baby!" He snorted at her excitement, finding it impossible to hide his smile. They went to his room and went to their snuggle positions. They faced each other as Shinsou placed an arm over herto pull her closer to him. She nuzzled her face on his chest, loving his incessant cuddles.

"Good night kitten."

"Good night baby."

"Don't call me baby, I'm not a kid."

"Okay then, good night hurricane hair-"

"Nope." Yumi laughed a little.

"Then what should I call you?"

"....." He pulled her closer, making sure she couldn't see his embarassment. "Call me...m-my love." She smiled at his sweetness, a side of him not many others have the privilege to see.

"Okay, good night my love. I love you."

"I love you too kitten."

The couple soon drifted off to sleep, dreaming of their future endeavors together.
