Chapter 1

Euphemia POV

It's been three short years since (y/n) was born and handed over to my care, "WHAT DID I TELL YOU, MILORD! THE MORGANA IS NOT A TOY!" Alexandra scolded, "I see (y/n) has gotten in trouble yet again." I said with a slight laugh, "Princess Euphemia, forgive my bluntness, but I don't think this is in any way amusing. He could've gotten hurt or worse. Not to mention the fact of all the lives he could've put in grave danger, yours included." she said, "I am aware, however, nothing happened therefore he has done no wrong." I said, "Childish." she sneered, "I beg pardon?" I said, "Your reasoning is childish at best. While nothing happened that doesn't change the fact my lord attempted to steal my Knightmare. If it were anyone else they'd have been put to death on the spot." she said, "I guess it's not your fault that you're like this though. Your sister does shield you from the cruel truth of the world allowing you to foolishly cling to your childish ideations." she said, "Tell me, did you even bother asking what his reasons were?" I asked, "No, they don't matter in the slightest." she said, "Look closer and tell me if you still feel the same." I said as she looked at (y/n) and found him clenching her badge signifying her as his knight close to his heart, he was trembling from being scalded. "He was trying to impress you, his idol. He wanted to be like you." I said, "Why, why would he want to be anything like me? Being a knight is an honor, but also a great burden." she said, "Why is it a burden?" I asked, "Because, a knight knows that one mistake could cost us our lives, but it could also mean that we could have to watch as the master we are sworn to protect above our very lives, die as we are helpless to do anything to stop their demise." she said, "I see, but that is not the case here, you are not helpless. You are strong and determined. That is why you are his knight." I said before I left.

Alexandra POV

"Milord, I humbly apologize. While I cannot allow you to go inside the Morgana, I'd be more than happy to show you her data." I said, "Otay!" he said happily as I led him to my room.

"The Morgana is a unique Knightmare Frame. She is capable of flight and can transform." I said as I pulled up the Morgana's schematics.

"The most powerful weapon I have at my disposal is the Radiant V.A.R.I.S. and I am aware that's not what it's called, but the name the developers gave it is too hard to say." I said, "Aside from that the MVS katanas are very powerful in their own right. However, there are three weapons that I must never use." I said, "What those?" (y/n) asked, "I don't dare speak their names, lest I invite an omen of their use." I said, 'Alexandra Lilith report to hanger 7 immediately.' someone said over the intercom, "Looks like I have to go to work, can you be good and keep out of trouble while I'm gone?" I said he nodded happily, "That's my master." I said as I ruffled his hair before I left.

"Lady Alexandra, we have made the preparations you've asked for. Also, we have developed a new pilot suit that will drastically improve your performance." a researcher said as she handed me a tablet with the new specs for the Morgana, "Show me the suit." I said as she led me to a case and opened it revealing the suit. 

Once I put it on I found one glaring flaw, "It doesn't fit." I said, "Try pressing the button on your wrist." she said, I pressed the button and the suit drastically tightened becoming skintight, "Better." I said as I ran to the Morgana and got into the cockpit. "Morgana mk.2, launching!" I said as I took off. It didn't take long to find the enemy, "All forces pull back. I shall deal with this." I said, "Looks like they've gotten their hands on some Knightmares, this could be fun!" I said as I flew down towards the enemy, "FIRING MAIN ARTILLERY!" I said as I fired my main guns decimating a good portion of the enemy soldiers, "Entering combat mode. Beginning transformation." I said as I shifted the Morgana from jet to combat mode and activated the speakers, "You dare to assault this, the home of my master! FOR THIS INSULT I SHALL HAVE YOUR HEADS!" I shouted as I rushed into combat, "FIRING HADRON CANNONS!" I said as I blasted through several knightmares with the hadron cannons in my forearms, "Incredible, the output of the Morgana has never been this high before, and I barely feel any strain in any of my movements!" I said as I drew my swords and cut down what remained of my enemies. "You foolish traitors, know your place and bow before your betters." I said before I flew back to base.

"Alexandra, I'd like to ask something of you." Princess Euphemia said, "Yes, anything my lady." I said as I knelt, "I would like to leave (y/n) in your care. My sister and I are going to Area 11 soon and there will be a lot of work to do. I fear that I will not have the time to give him the attention he needs. So I ask that you watch over him until I send word that I'm ready for him to come to Area 11." she said, "Yes, your highness. I humbly and gratefully accept this task." I said.
