Chapter 10.

* Jack's P.O.V *

We arrived at Maddy's house. It's been a long time I haven't seen her since we left for London. I miss her so much. I really do. I just wanna tell her the truth, that i really like her. But what if she won't like me back? What if i'm not her type? 

Maddy and Kim were setting up the foods on the table while me and the guys are watching the TV. 

- 15 minutes later -

We were eating lunch with Maddy, Kim, Eddie, Jerry and Milton. After we finished eating, we gave her the presents that we bought at London. She was so happy when she opened my present. 

She was jumping, and fangirling at the same time. Then, she came to me and hugged me really tight. She hugged me really thight, but I like it. The smell of her perfume, it was the best 15 seconds of my life. 

After she finished checking out the presents we bought for her, we all think it will be fun to watch a movie at her house. She gave us 2 files that is full of DVDs, and we keep looking for a nice movie to watch.

And finally, we found one. We picked Pitch Perfect. We gave the DVD to Maddy and she insert the disc in the DVD player. 

- 2 hours later -

The movie is over. Kim is sleeping over at Maddy's. We are going home anytime soon. I don't wanna leave now, but I had to since Jerry invited me to eat with the guys at Falafel Phil's. 

* Maddy's P.OV *

Jack and the guys have left. Wow, I finally got to see him and the guys after not seeing them for a month! Ahh! But I hugged Jack! Which I hugged that is... little bit too tight. That was embarrassing! Oh god!

Me and Kim were bored sitting at home singing to I Knew You Were Trouble out loud, and jumping around the house. So we went outside to take a walk. We were talking and walking, then we saw someone.

We quickly hide behind the huge tree, and spying on that 'someone'. 

And that someone was Jake! He was standing alone, at the park. He does know that he wants to meet me at the park tomorrow, not today right?!

We hid behind the free for like.. 15 minutes! Then sudenly this guy was walking to him. And Jake was walking to him back. They did a bro hug, then talk. Wow, they do talk really loud. But I know Jake talks really loud since I met him. I took my phone out and recorded what they said.

" So, you really wanna meet her? But you left her! What do you want from her? "

" Why are you so curious? Urgh. I just need to talk to her. Ok, so this is my plan. My dad said we are going to be staying at Seaford for 2 months. For my dad's job and shits. So, last 2 days, me and my dad went to Seaford High, to transfer me to that school. The school is full, but this one kid left Seaford High, so I can be in it. I just want Maddy to be mine back, so when I transfer in that school, all the girls want me, but also want Maddy to be treaten badly. So when I see a hot girl, I'll try to not flirt with her first. I took smart lessons, my dad at least wants me to get an A. Maddy is smart, so i'll trick her to be in one of my school projects and when I got an A, I'll leave that shithead and go to another hot girl. I'm using her for projects. But for that hot girl? For my heart.

" You're such a bitch, Jake. I never believed I was your friend. You have changed since you dated Maddy's ex-best friend. What did she even do to you? Maddy loved you. But you treated her like garbage. But do you know that, not just hot girls have nice personality. "

" This is my life ok? I wanted to talk to you too. Your work for me is, when I'll broke up with Maddy, you have to get rid of her in this town. I don't wanna see her face. It makes me sick. "

Jake left, and his friend looks so mad at him. But it looks like I know that guy...

Now I know him! It's Adam!!! He used to be my best friend too when I was dating Jake the asshole. Adam is so nice. But is Adam backing me up? Wow. Adam sometimes used to be afraid of Jake because Jake's temper was so high everytime. Before and during we were dating. 

I told Kim about Adam and she asked me to go to him and talk. Kim followed me to talk to him. 

" Adam..? " 

" Wait how- oh my god! Maddy! Never expect to see you here! I mean like, RIGHT NOW! " He said excitedly.

" I never did too. But uh, I saw you were talking to Jake just now. " I said

" Really? Hmm. He asked me to get rid of you out of this town. I'm not going to. Trust me, I won't. I promise. "

" I actually heard everything though. " I said

" I promise! I'm not gonna listen to what Jake says now, I'm not afraid with him anymore. I moved out from our old school and moved to Seattle. And Jake called and said he wanted to talk. So I came here and thought it was a fun bro's hang out. But he ended up talking bout his stupid shitty plan. And then just left like that! " He said

" What a douche. Oh sorry! This is my best friend, Kim. Kim meet Adam, Adam meet Kim! " I said as they shook their hands

" Nice to meet you, Kim!  "

" You too, Adam! " Kim said

" So whatcha gonna do with Jake, Maddy? I can help you out, no worries. He is not gonna ruin your life forever. "

" He texted me this morning and said he wanted to meet me here, at the park. Tomorrow morning. I knew he wanted to play his " little game ". Now I know how he gets my number, cause I never changed it. Urgh. Stupid me. But why won't he delete it? Why won't he just go with my ex best friend?! "

" That asshole and the bitch broke up last month. What a joke. I knew they won't last for a long time. Listen here, Maddy. If he tries to hurt you or anything, i'm here. Well I was your best friend back in our old school? "

" I always knew that they won't last. But thanks Adam, you really are a good friend. You still have my number? So I can call you after the meeting tomorrow with Jake? "

" Oh I almost forgot! I lost your number, heres my number" He said while I gave him my phone to him to type in his phone number.

" Thanks Maddy. Call me if anything happens. I really need to go now. Nice seeing you again after not seeing you for months!! And also nice meeting you, Kim! And just so you know, I am staying at a hotel. I will send you my address when you need it! Bye! "

" Bye! " we both shouted as we wave our hands.

 Adam is not the type of guy who lies. I known him for like years, and he is still friendly. Not like Jake. From a friendly turned into a jerk. 

 " Kim, we got a plan" I said to her while we made our way home.

 I can't wait to see what will happen to Jake tomorrow.
