Canceled Project

"the One".

"beep-beep, beep-beep" ringed my alarm clock indicating it was time to go to school,gosh how I hated that sound. I slammed the stop button so that annoying sound would go away. I stood up and stretched out. I had this weird pain in my head.

"what did I do yesterday? " I asked myself

I couldn't remember anything from the day before, all I knew was that my head hurted a lot. I took a quick shower and got some regular clothes on. dark jeans, dark shirt and dark jacket nothing out of order juts my regular style. When I finished brushing my teeth I heard a voice coming from downstairs, most likely the kitchen saying:

"Erick breakfast is ready we are going to be late to school ".

It was my sister Gabriela. We lived alone in a little house not far away from our high school. As in difference from me a blonde haired boy who always wore dark clothes my sister had dark brown hair and always liked to wear colorful things. She was always pretty active and was kinda crazy. A lot of people thought she was hot so she always had one or two boys dieying for her. Gabriela was one of my only friends she was always there to help me.

I ran downstairs to eat my breakfast. It was pancakes, again. Even thought my sister was attractive and pretty smart she didn't know how to cook much of a breakfast. Everyday breakfast was either cereal or pancakes.

"hey, uncle Nikolai sent us a new check. Can you go to the principal's office and get it after class? " said my sister with a big smile on her face, as usual.

Uncle Nikolai was the one paying for our bills, he sent checks every month so that we could live well and keep studying.

" sure, I'll get it ". I said to her

" well we better get going or we are going to be late to school " she said as I was finishing my breakfast

My first class was history, I didn't pay much attention in that class,or in any class. My head still hurted and I still couldn't remember anything. There was one thing a was able to remember,a question to be more specific.

"what would your dream world be like? "

I didn't know what that question meant or who asked me that. All I could remember was that question and nothing else. I spent the whole day thinking about that one question. Trying to remember what happened, but nothing came to mind . It was chemistry class and I decided to stop focusing on that question and start focusing on the actual class I was in. A few minutes later the bell rang. It was lunch time already. I went to the cafeteria and grabbed my lunch.

"hey erick, over here! " I heard another familiar voice, this time a male

I turned around and saw that it was William, his full name was William Sykes he was another one of my only friends and he was also my sister's lover/boyfriend, something like that . He was calling me so I would go sit with him at the usual table, Gabriela was sitting there next to him. I went and sat with them. I tried to eat but I couldn't,the question and the pain in my head were bothering me too much.

"what's wrong Erick", said Gabriela

I looked at her and said "my head hurts, and also I can't remember what I did yesterday"

She looked at me like I had said a curse word in the middle of church. She stopped smiling and looked down at he food. I knew something was wrong, she only did that when something was

"now that you mention it. I can't remember anything either, and my head hurts too. When I woke up this morning I felt like I had been drugged or something ".
