I Found You When I Was Lost

Chapter-7

Y/N 's POV:

I got back to the hotel. I could see Alishka was pacing the lobby frantically. She was constantly on her phone calling someone probably trying to reach me.
I stopped for a second really scared to face the wrath of my little sister. It might seem hilarious that I'm petrified of my 'Little' sister but it s what it is. I mean who wouldn't.
I gently walk towards her and call out to her.
" A....Alish..ka...!" I called out to her stuttering.
She turned towards me. The tensed expression on her face wore off showing a sign of relief as she saw me. She looked genuinely happy at the sight of me. She came running towards me and wrapped me in a tight hug.
" Y/N!! Thank God you're back. I was really scared." She said almost sobbing.
" I'm really sorry Alishka." I replied patting her on the back trying to calm her down.
" Are you okay? Do you know how scared I was?"She said trying to compose herself.
" Yeah. I'm okay. I can see that. Are you crying Alishka?" I asked her teasingly.
"No! Why would I cry?" She said pushing me away from her while trying to wipe her tears.
"Aww... My baby sister is crying because she missed me. So cute." I said trying to tease her even more.
" Oh shut up. Anyway! Where the hell were you! Do you know how crazy it was out here. I've been calling you from so long but of no use. I was about to call the police just before you came in" She started yelling.
Damn! My bad. I just woke up the monster.
" Oh yeah... I'm really sorry Alishka. I got lost. And my phone went dead so I wasn't able to reach you or turn on the navigation. See..." I said trying to reach my pocket so that I can show her my phone.
I shuffled through my pockets but I couldn't find my phone.
" See what?" Alishka asked a bit irritated.
I took off my bag and started emptying the contents of it and yet couldn't find my phone.
" Alishkaaa... I think I lost my phone." I said dejected throwing my hands. Giving up on the the search.
" What! What are you talking about!" Alishka asked trying to make sense of what was happening.
" Oh God! Why does all of this happen to only me." I said staring ahead as if I'm starting into oblivion and plopping myself on the couch.
" Are you sure it's lost? How careless can you be
Y/N? First you yourself get lost. Now you lose your phone as well. Huh... I don't know what to do with you." She started bursting in full Mom mode.
" Arrrrgghhhh!!! What do I do now.! Mom and dad will kill me" I cried frustrated.
" Hey! It's okay... We'll figure something out. We'll try calling your phone just in case if it's with someone they'll pick up. That all we can do. Don't panic now." Alishka said sitting beside me trying to calm me.
" Yeah. I know. I just hope I find it tomorrow. I hope someone has actually picked it up so that I can reach it." I said trying to compose myself
" Yeah let's just look after it tomorrow. You must be really tired. Let's just go sleep okay?" Alishka said
" Okayyy..." I replied.

We both went up to our room. I washed up and got ready for bed.
While lying on my bed I prayed...
" God please let someone find my phone and return it to me. Please!" I wished for it and then dozed off to sleep.
