I Found You When I Was Lost

Chapter - 5

I came to the bottom of the tower and decided to get back home.
I noticed my phone's dead. And it had gotten dark. There were fewer people around
I have no idea how do I get out of here.
Nobody knew English over here so asking them is difficult. I still managed to ask around but in vain. People couldn't understand me nor could I understand them.
I started walking on the bits and pieces of recollection I had and tried to figure a way out.
It had almost been an hour of walking and I still was nowhere.
I reached a place with big mansions around and very lonely. I was scared too since I had no way to contact. I came into a big park sort of place with giant cherry blossom trees alongside. The ground was filled with pink petals. The place looked beautiful and kind of lonely.
I was dead tired from walking over an hour so I decided to sit on a bench under the cherry blossom tree. It was getting cold too and the lack of warm clothes I had on made me remember what my mom said and started missing her.
" Huh! What am I going to do? I seem to be in the middle of nowhere. Uh! I wish I could find someone who could guide back." I sighed and laid back on the bench.
I was so lost in my thoughts. How is Alishka going to reach me. She must be worried sick. She'll probably go the police if she can't find me. And at the end if she finds me after all this it would be so embarrassing that me a 23 year old girl couldn't figure out how to get back to the hotel...

" Bow Bow! Bow Bow!" I got startled at the sound.
" Wait! Was that a dog barking."
" Bow bow! Bow bow!" I could hear little squeals of barking dog with the ringing of a tiny bell.
I looked around here and there and then I saw a little dog running towards me but it was approaching towards a pit made to keep swept away leaves which was  pretty deep.
I don't know what came into me. I just sprung up from the bench, ran towards the dog and picked it up just before it was about to reach the pit and fall.
I picked him up and checked whether he had a tag on.

Fortunately he had a tag on with his name on it.
" YEOTAN"..
" Yeotan! Hello Yeotan! What are you doing here alone.? Are you lost like me too Little Yeotan. Poor baby. Where's your father?" I asked Yeotan playfully while snuggling him. He just gave little squeaky bark and settled on my lap comfortably like he's known me forever. The air around me changed suddenly. The wind started to blow lifting the petals fallen on the ground and swirling them. I suddenly got this weird unfamiliar yet good feeling. My heart started to beat fast. It was pounding in my chest. It was kind of a funny feeling.

" His father is here." A voice came.
A husky, rough, deep voice. Kind of sexy. It sent shivers down my spine. I was taken aback by the sudden beautiful baritone. The wind was still blowing. A whiff of the beautiful fragrance of perfume caught my nose. My senses heightened. What is going on? What is this unfamiliar feeling?
My heart started to beat really fast now that my heartbeats were echoing in my ears.
It was pretty dark in the park except for a few streetlights. I tried to look intently. I could see a blur figure approaching towards me.
And then I saw him. The owner of the voice. Dressed in all black outfit and wearing a black mask and a cap. His coat flowing like a cape due to the wind.
He approached me.
" I'm his father." He said with his deep voice
I was still in a daze that it took me a while to compose myself and come back to my senses.
Yeotan jumped into his arms and started squeaky barking which denoted that he in fact was his owner.
" Oh..h..h ! He is yours?! I'm sorry he just came running towards me and was about to fall into a pit so I had to pick him up". I said stammering a little.
" Yeah yeah I know. I saw it. Thank you so much. This little guy over here is always running away like this. He doesn't listen. He has become a bad boy " He replied. Saying the last words looking at Yeotan
" Aww! Little Yeotan isn't a bad boy. He's so adorable. He just wants to have fun. Right Yeotan?" I said looking at Yeotan scuffling his fur.
" Haha! Yeah sure. He's always the ladies favourite." He chuckled a little.
" Why wouldn't he be. Just look at him." I just couldn't get over how cute he is.
"Yes. Do you like dogs too?" He asked.
" Yes. I love dogs. I wish I had someone like Yeotan too" I said.
" Well. I love dogs too and this little fella is my everything." He said
" Wait this is a closed campus what are you doing here at this time.? It's quite lonely at this time."
" Yes. I know. Wait you speak English!"  It struck me  suddenly after being in a conversation with him for 5 mins.
" Huh! Yeah! Thank you! I speak very well." He replied with his eyebrows a little frowned confused at my sudden observation.
" Thank God! I had come for site-seeing and my phone went dead. I lost my navigation and tried asking people around but nobody spoke English and then I wandered off trying to figure out a way and now I'm totally lost and that's how I ended up here." I tried to summarise my debacle.
" Oh damn!" He said
" Yeah. I know. Finally I found someone who speaks English. Can you please guide me how to get out of here?" I asked batting my eyelashes.
" Yeah sure! No problem! You saved Yeotan, this is the least I can do for you. Where are you staying ?"
I told him the address. He started to explain to me in detail step by step how to get back.
Meanwhile Yeotan who was in his hands this whole time got a little frisky again and started fidgeting. While fidgeting he pulled his owners face mask that he was wearing revealing his face.
And damn what a gorgeous face that was. Even in the gleam of the few street lights his face looked radiant . The light bouncing off his marvellous bone structure making it look like a sculpture.
The moment Yeotan pulled his face mask his eyes popped out as if  he did not want to reveal his face.
Then it hit me. His face looked familiar. Like I've seen it before somewhere. It took me a while but I figured it out. It was KIM TAEHYUNG of BTS.
" Aren't you V of BTS?" I asked stammering not able to believe my own eyes as to what I'm seeing right in front of me.
" Yeee....sss." He said hesitantly
" Oh my God! I knew you looked familiar. Just wasn't able to put my finger on it." I said.
" Oh so you're a fellow Army as well?" He asked.
" No no. I am not an Army but I don't live under a rock either. You guys are everywhere. Your face is on every billboard here. I could identify." I said.
He kept silent. Kind of scared about something.
I looked above his shoulder behind him I could see a bunch of people have come and we're not the only ones here. I understood immediately his ordeal.
" Oh. Hey! You don't need to worry. I won't be fan girling  and squealing and draw attention over here. Don't worry I won't reveal I met you or your whereabouts on the internet. I understand. It's about your safety." I said reassuring him.
" Well that's a relief. But you sure you won't be fan girling and need a selfie or something." He asked teasingly.
" No Thank you! I guess I'll do fine." I replied with a straight face.
" Thank you for being understanding. Now
let's get you back home." He said.
He explained it to me nicely how to get by and reach till the hotel. I thanked him said our goodbyes and left.
I did as I was instructed and left the place and finally was able to reach back to the hotel.
As I entered I could see Alishka pacing frivolously up and down the lobby.
I  got scared about the scoldings. I know it's funny but I'm more scared of my little sister than my parents. I went up to her dreading for the worst.
" Alishka.... I'm here" I called out
Alishka turned and looked at me. I could see a sense of relief on her face as soon as she saw me, but that didn't last for long it soon became the expression of wrath.
" Ya! What the hell were you doing? Where the hell the hell were you? Why are you back so late?" She just started bombarding me with questions.
" God chill chill. I'm here now na. I just went out for sightseeing and got lost that's why it took so long." I said
" You got lost, what were you doing? I had been calling you so many times but your phone was just not reachable. I've been worried sick here. I was just going to go to the police if you wouldn't have shown up before 12."
" I know Im really sorry to worry you but what could I do. All this problems arose because of my phone only. Here look, it's dead" I said trying to fetch my phone from my coat pocket. I tapped on it I couldn't feel my phone. I checked all my pockets and my backpack frantically still not able to find it.
" Oh my god Alishka! I can't find my phone. I think I lost my phone somewhere." I said disappointed.
" What you lost your phone?! Y/N!!! Mom and dad are going to kill you. How careless are you" Alishka said.
" I know. I know okay! You're just stressing me out even more." I said frustrated
" Hey.... It's okay alright. We'll find it. Atleast you're back safe. That's all I want." She said and gave me a big hug trying to calm me down.
" Yes yes. I hope I find it." I said hopefully wishing I find it.
