Back story

It's been over a year since you, Mark, Matt, and Nate were kidnapped. You are now at the start of the winter break of your senior year in high school. All of you had started doing therapy and mentally you were doing better. The scars were still there and would probably always will.

No one outside of our families knows what happened to us. It was something that you all agreed on for our own safety. On to the story...

Chapter 1

Y/n's perspective:

Finally done with the semester. After saying bye to some of my classmates I walk out to my car. My school has really bad reception, so I finally am able to check my phone to see what I missed while I was at school.

What I see surprises me. I have 30 missed calls from Nate, 17 from Matt, and 5 from Mark. Along with that, I have several texts from each of them. I lock myself in my car and call Nate since he called me the most. The phone rings for a few seconds before a stressed-sounding Nate answers the phone.

"Y/n! Are you ok?"

"Um hi to you too Nate. And yeah I'm fine. I was in school."

I hear him sigh in relief through the phone, "oh good! Mark is flying out tomorrow and you're coming back with him."

"Why what is going on?" I asked concerned.

"Are you alone right now?"

"Um yeah, I am."

"Good," Nate takes a deep breath before continuing. "They got out Y/n."

I sit there stunned for a few minutes, "Do they know how?"

"No, but it happened only a few hours ago so you should be able to be safe until Mark gets there tomorrow."

"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow."

We say our goodbyes and hang up.

~Time Skip to next day~

Mark is about to get to my house. I'm excited to see him but I don't like the reason I am seeing him. I sit on my phone at the kitchen table trying to pass the time and not think about what is happening.

After a few minutes, the doorbell rings, and I get up to see Mark standing there looking stressed and like he's barely slept. I welcome him in with a hug and he comes and sits at the table with me. We talk for a little bit about how I've been and what the plan is for our safety.

Eventually, Mark and I head back to the airport so we can head back to LA to be with everyone else. I wish that this nightmare would never have happened.
