Her, being Kamaria
Melanie or rather Kamaria get up from her bed,go to bathroom and started to wash herself.
Looking at the mirror while brushing her hair. Kamaria started to analyze again the situation she has in.
In the novel, Kamaria Ivanovich is the witch of the forbidden forest of the West. She's an insignificant character in the series. Her only role is the one who gave birth to the female lead and the mother of Alkina.
She barely appears in the series,the beginning of the story,the series 3 and lastly in the wedding of her daughter with the male lead.
She appears on the first three chapters at the beginning where she and the female lead talk about Alkina being an independent because she is already in her adulthood. It means that, Kamaria has already permited her daughter to leave and do things what she wants.
When Melanie read this, she felt like Alkina's mother is cold towards her daughter. The way Kamaria speak and the way she treated her daughter. There's always a gap. Her daughter will do whatever she wants and Kamaria will not care and do her own business. It feels like it's enough that Alkina is alive and eating well then after that Alkina will leave when she becomes adult.
Melanie felt de javu of how the mother and daughter treat each other.
On that three chapters, there's no explanation nor description about Alkina's mother. It's just some of their conversation and the female leads point of view.
After Alkina leave the forbidden forest,her mother was not mentioned again until the end of first series.
Kamaria had appear again in the third series which is Alkina and her friends doing some mission near in her mother's territory.
Ladian, Alkina's best friend ask about her mother and Alkina said.
"We are not that close,both of us we're like strangers. Maybe it's because witch like her has personality like that"
That's right,Alkina is not a witch. In this world, witch is rare but they're not really that sociable and will only hide in the deepest corner of the world and being a daughter of a witch doesn't mean the child will become a witch.
The only thing they got from their parents is some of their power's but not the ability of living for century. Witch is not immortals but they will not age nor die if no one will kill them.
Alkina on the other hand is a human,to be exact she's a battle mage. Mages can live for many years but their physical appearance will change and eventually will die.
Why is being a witch is rare? It's because being a witch is a gift of the goddess Elera. It's says that,it was a blessing for them for doing good deads in their previous life, it's either they're human or any kind of creature they are in their past life. If the goddess acknowledge them, they're lucky.
The novel also said about witch hunt before but goddess Elera was so angry about how human used her beloved beings in their selfish desire that's why she give and order or perhaps a curse that 'everyone who will use the witch for their selfishness nor the witch will use the power she gave in evil deads,they will face misfortune and live a life in suffering'.
Those people who didn't believe suffer in the end that's why In the present the existence of witch is rare and if the country found one, whether they will make an alliance or they will respect the witch choice.
Going back on the series three. Alkina's friends had a mission near her mother's territory that's why after completing the mission,she decided to visit her mother. The visiting last for 5 chapters.
In that chapter,her father was also mentioned. Alkina's friends ask about her father that's why when Kamaria heard it,she interrupt.
"Why are you asking about it?" Kamaria ask.
Everyone of them flinch,Sahara bravely talk. "Ah..we we're just curious" she awkwardly said.
Kamaria look at them intently "curiosity kill the cat, remember that" that was all she said then vanished
All of them became silent.
One night before they leave the forbidden forest. Alkina ask her mother about her father but Kamaria only said this.
"Look at yourself, Mercenary Albion, One night pleasure and no feelings were attached" Kamaria uttered while looking at her mana potion.
Alkina tried to understand what her mother said but even until they leave she can't understand her mother's way of talking.
That's why she ask her senior about it and it was translated as:
"Look at yourself means the two of you are look a like or both you and your father has the same features. Mercenary Albion is maybe the name of your father. One night pleasure means one night stand and lastly No feelings were attached means the two of them were not in love with each other"
Alkina understand now what her mother is talking about. She can't deny that she is sometimes slow to catch things up but that's the only stupid side of her.
When she realized all of the meaning,she tried to find her father but failed. The world is big and maybe her real father has already started a family.
'i was born with a one night mistake huh?'
She then gave up searching for her father and accepted the fact that she can't find him. She was also thankful that her mother didn't get rid of her despite being a single mother.
Kamaria Lastly appears on Alkina's wedding. She changed her eye color because having a golden eyes is only the witch traits. On her daughter's wedding, Kamaria meet the Male lead for the first time.
Her daughter's husband. Both look at each other. Analyzing the situation before the Male lead greet her. Kamaria only nod and said.
"Now that the wedding is done, I shall leave"
Alkina stop her "you will not attend the reception?"
Kamaria look at her daughter evenly "I will be meeting someone and it's very important"
"Mother... can't you stay?"
"You know that I don't like many people. I need to leave"
Alkina nod and didn't stop her mother anymore.
Melanie was kind of pissed on Kamaria because she's so cold towards her daughter but she was curious about how the story end. It was because the last paragraph or last panel of the epilogue.
Alkina's mother, Kamaria meet with a person wearing a silver cloak. That person called Kamaria 'My liege'.
When Melanie search about it. many fans was also curious. They were demanding a side story or an special chapters but sadly her mother announced that,it was the end and nothing will be added.
