I wake up and let out the biggest yawn I have ever released. Today was the day us three earn that security guard job and to be honest, I was pretty excited. I did my normal routine and left my house and my phone rang. It read,
Katrina: Sweetie, you need to stop by to get your gift! We waited for you yesterday and you never came.
Katrina is my step-mother. Ever since my mom died a few years ago, it hasn't been the same. Tension rose between us and now It's getting a tag annoying. Honestly, the fact she's my step mom wanted me to forget I even had a family.
Me: I'll come over soon.
Katrina: Alright, and bring Disbelif and Sunset with you. We have to talk about something.
'Alright. I'll be there whenever I can." I lied as I screen shotted the text and put my phone away. "Step parents are a real pain." I whispered.
~Time Skip To The Park~
"Hi Juslyn!" Sunset and Disbelif yelled from across the street. "Hi Sunset, Hi Disbelif!" I said as I pull them into hug after crossing it. "Alright so the pizzeria is right over there." Disbelif whispered as she pointed towards behind us, where a man stood there watching the us do what we do. "That's the man who watched me. He's kinda creepy but he's a good guy once you meet him." Disbelif said as she waved and he waved back. "Well, lets go to him and ask where the job applications are!" I say as I push the two over to the man with the sign.
"Hi, I was wondering where the job applications are for this pizzeria. Could you help me?" I ask. "Oh, why would pretty women sign up for a job of a man?" the guy said. "Because we have nothing to do during the summer." Disbelif said. "Huh, well you can just take the ones beside me." He said as he handed some papers to the three. "Oh, thanks old man!" Sunset smiled as she grabs Disbelif and drags her over to talk about the application form. "No problem, young woman." he said as he smiled and walked home since his job was done. Wow, a job application..I wonder how this will turn out.
