Chapter 9: (Beach)

Austin's P.O.V

I woke up the next morning and thought about tomorrow. Tomorrow is Monday which means school again. Yay i have to do something with becky today. But what? I went into the bathroom and took a shower and thought about it.

When i got out i did my hygiene routine and got dressed. I looked around and noticed it was quiet. Oh yeah i forgot i dropped becky off at home yesterday. Now i'm bored. I went downstairs and fixed a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch my favorite.

Michele - "Morning honey. How did you sleep?" she fixed a bowl of cereal.

Me - "I slept good. "

Michele - "Ready to go back to school tomorrow?" she laughed.

Me - "Nope. " I said popping the 'p'

Michele - "I felt the same way when i was a teenager. But once i got to college i realized that school pays off especially when it comes ti your future. " She took a bite of her cereal.

Me - "Yeah i know. School is just stressful and the older you get the more responsibility you have to have. " I rinsed my bowl out and set it in the seat.

Michele - "I know austin. You can do it. If you want you can take your classes online if you want. " She kissed my cheek.

Me - "No thanks mom. I think public school is better for me. " I got the keys off the table. My mom put her hands on her hips and raised her eyebrow.

Michele - "And just where do you think you're going this early?" She asked. I checked my watch.

Me - "Haha. Mom it's 10:30. " I laughed.

Michele - "I know exactly. That's early at least wait until noon. " She said. I sighed.

Me - "Mom i'm just going to go over becky's house. "

Michele - "Oh okay well bye honey. And be safe. " She said. She walked away and i laughed. I left the house.

Becky's House

I was at Becky's house and i was having a conversation with her mom. Becky soon came downstairs and widened her eyes at her mom.

Becky - "I'm so sorry about my mom austin. " She waved her hand away intending for her mom to leave.

Me - "It's fine she's funny. " I said.

Becky - "So what do you want to do today?" She sat down beside me.

Me - "I was just thinking that this morning. I was thinking maybe we could go to the beach. " She smiled and kissed me.

Becky - "I would love to. " She hugged me. "Just us?"

Me - "Yeah. Just us. " I said.

Becky-  "Cool so when are we leaving?" She asked.

Me - "I was thinking 1 or 2pm. " I said.
Becky - "We can leave at 1. What do you want to do till then?"

Me - "We can go to the mall and find you a new bathing suit. " She squealed.

Becky - "Oh yes! Come on let's go. " She said. "Oh but just let me get dressed. " She ran upstairs and i waited.

Becky's P.O.V

I ran upstairs and did my hygiene routine. I went to my closet and picked out an outfit. I put on a romper and some flip flops. I then put my hair in a messy bun and some lipgloss on.

I came downstairs and austin was waiting.

Austin - "Wow you look great. " He kissed me.

Me - "Thanks. " We left and were on our way to the mall.

Mall

We got there and we went to the PINK store. Austin waited outside. I picked out a few and went to a dressing room and tried them on. I picked out three. A black and pink polka dot two piece and the top was strapless. The second was a red one piece with jewels on the bottom. The last one was a plain yellow two piece. I texted austin and told him to come in and which dressing room. He came and looked at me.

Austin - "Wow. " He bit his lip.

Me - "Hold on a sec i have more. Do you like the black and pink, red with jewels, or plain yellow?" I held them up. He took a minute to answer.

Austin - "The red one. " He smiled.

Me - "Okay. " I changed back into my clothes and i payed for it.

Venice Beach ☀

We got there and i went to the bathroom to go change into my bathing suit. When i came out austin had made us a picnic. We found a nice spacious spot and layed the blanket down on the hot sand. Me and austin put on some sunscreen so we wouldn't get a sunburn.

Austin - "So do you want to eat first? Or swim for a while. " He asked.

Me - "Swim first. If you eat before you go swimming you get a cramp and drown. " He laughed. "You're laughing but i'm serious. " He closed his mouth trying not to laugh. I rolled my eyes and walked in the water. When it got to my waist i dived in and swam further out. When i could tell i was about to lose my breath i swam back up to the surface as fast as i could. When i got up i felt water hit my face.

Austin - "What took you so long. Are you okay? You were down there for a long time. " He complained.

Me - "I'm fine austin. I just wanted to swim out a little further. " I said.

Austin - "Oh okay. " I then felt myself being lifted up by my feet and my head was in the water. I prenteded like i was drowning.  He let my feet go and started panicking. He picked me up and brought me back to the sand. He layed me down and started giving me CPR.

Austin - "No becky come on baby please! I'm so sorry. Baby please. Just come back to me. " He started crying and i gave up the act. I started laughing. He stopped and gave me a serious look. "Becky what the hell?! I thought you were dead!" He yelled.

Becky - "Sorry i just wanted to mess with you. " I laughed. I kissed me and rubbed his friend. He started getting excited.

Austin - "Alright. I forgive you just stoo trying to get me excited. " He said. "I'm hungry let's eat. " He rubbed his stomach. We went to our spot and sat down. He pulled out the food. He had subway sandwiches with two snapples and chocolate covered strawberries.

We ate our food and just stayed there until it got dark. We layed down and looked at the stars.

Me - "The stars are so beautiful. " I said.

Austin - "Just like you. " He looked st me.

Me - "Aww thankyou. " I blushed.

Austin - "Do you think we will get married later on in life?" He asked. I froze. Did he really just ask what i think he did?!

Me - "Wait huh?" I asked.

Austin - "I said do you think we will get married to each other later on in life?" He repeated.

Me - "Um idk. Only god knows what the future has in store for us. " I said. He smiled.

Austin - "I hope we do. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. " He kissed me.
