"How much longer, Appa-Jin?"

"Ten minutes."

"How long, Appa-Joon?"

"Ten minutes."

"You said that before!"

Minjun was waiting impatiently by the window, his uncle Kookie was due to arrive very soon to take him to the park so that his parents could get some work done.

"Have you had your vitamin?" Namjoon asks as he puts some things into a small blue and grey camo backpack.

"Yes, Appa-Jin gave it to me with breakfast... how long now?"

Namjoon smiled fondly at their son, the warmth he felt for the little boy now bouncing on his toes with excitement was just too much to comprehend sometimes.

"Is that a car I hear?" Jin asks, eyes wide and a big smile on his face.

Minjun's feet left the floor as he jumped around, turning in circles and cheering, "It is! Uncle Kookie is here!"

Jin opened the door just before the bell was pressed and before the young man could get both feet past the threshold he was catching Minjun who had launched himself at him.

"Hey chipmunk." he says holding the boy on his hip and ruffling his hair, "getting too big to be carried."

"Uncle Kookie, you are late... and I'm not too big." the small boy pouted, his jet black hair shiny and floppy.

"How would you know I'm late? Can you tell the time now?" Jungkook says with a big smile, "I know how smart you are."

Minjun wriggles as Jungkook tickles his side, "Appa-Jin and Appa-Joon said ten minutes a lot. Too many ten minutes."

Jungkook whispers in the boy's ear, "When it comes to time, you should never listen to your Appas."

Minjun giggles, Namjoon raises his brows, "What was that?"

Both Jungkook and Minjun look at the couple standing across from them, "Nothing" they both say together.

"Jin rolls his eyes with a grin on his face, "Let's finish getting you ready." He takes Minjun from Jungkook and they disappear out of the large living room.

"What did you promise him this time?" Namjoon asks Jungkook.

"I didn't promise him anything, I told him that when it comes to the time, he shouldn't listen to you."

"So when we tell him it's bedtime and he acts up... we should call you?"

"He won't act up, he's an angel. I'll make sure he knows what I meant." Jungkook says, following Namjoon into the kitchen and jumping up to sit on the worktop.

"Are you going for lunch, today?"

"Yeah, I thought we could go to that little cafe near the park, he likes it there."

"Do you need cash?"

"Keep your money. I take him out because I like spending time with him and you guys give me enough money for doing what I do, anyway. I don't need you paying for lunch too."

Jungkook has known the couple for years, he met them when he was sixteen and walked into a restaurant to hand in his CV with barely anything on it in the hope of some part time work so he could finish high school and save for university. The owners of the restaurant weren't interested but Jin and Namjoon overheard the pleading of the young lad and approached him. The couple who owned a publishing company had a 6 month old son and were looking for someone to watch him while they worked but everyone they'd employed in the previous few months hadn't been right for them. They had a good feeling about Jungkook when they'd overheard him asking for work, he had ambition and they hoped he could grow with Minjun and effectively be an older brother.
