"Why are you here?"
Jungkook frowns at Namjoon, "That's not very nice."
"You've already called me to tell me that they've offered you the internship and I've already told you that we will have a dinosaur party on Sunday. But you are here... why?" Namjoon stands to one side and lets Jungkook walk into the house. He'd been getting some emails and calls done while his husband had taken their son for lunch.
"How did chipmunk get on yesterday?"
"The same as we told you when you called last night. Please don't ask about the zoo... we told you about that when you called yesterday too."
Jungkook is standing in the lounge, he's shuffling slightly on his feet. "I'm going to Tae's now."
"Yes, I know, which is why I asked what you are doing here."
"I don't know if I should I take something with me?"
Namjoon is doing everything in his power not to laugh. "Condoms?"
"Trust you!"
"What's with the nerves? You've been talking to him for ages, you've been on three dates and you are both clearly at the stage where you want to take things to the next level."
"I don't know why I'm so nervous. It just hit me when I left Cyber City and I ended up here. I really feel that we could be something so I suppose I'm worried that we won't have that connection when it comes to the intimate stuff."
Now Namjoon laughs, "I don't think you should worry about that. You both radiate chemistry, it's obvious. You've said from the start that it all feels natural and there isn't anything more natural than expressing your attraction and feelings for someone through sex. You've made your preferences clear, you compliment each other so I'm not seeing a problem."
"The problem is that I want us to be compatible in every way possible."
"Jungkook, you need to stop overthinking it and go with it. You've both been honest with each other so you know what will happen today. Let him guide you."
"What's that meant to mean?"
"It means that after everything you've told me that he's said... let him take the lead and keep an open mind."
"I do have an open mind and you know I don't have any problem with allowing a partner to take the lead."
"Good. Now... go! MJ and Jin will be back in about half an hour and if you are here, you know full well you will have difficulty getting away. So go."
Jungkook moves to the door. He isn't sure if the pep talk helped at all but it was done now and he needed to text Tae to let him know he was on his way to meet him. "Okay, I'm going. I'll be over as usual in the morning to collect Chipmunk."
"Play safe and stop thinking so much... Oh and you should invite Tae to your dinosaur party on Sunday."
"Thanks." He says before leaving Namjoon grinning behind him.
***
Parking up near the river was his opportunity to take a few deep breaths and try to pull himself together. He hadn't realised how much he was used to seeing Tae until yesterday when he didn't see him. He definitely hadn't called Namjoon and Jin to find out how Minjun got on so that he could hear about the art teacher. He knew that they would put the small boy on the phone and he knew that said small boy would rabbit on about Tae (which he did). He also predicted that one of the first things Minjun would ask would be if they were boyfriends (which he did) and Jungkook already planned to ask him if he'd asked Tae that question (which he had). Minjun told him that Tae said nearly and hopefully soon. Jungkook was slightly skeptical until Namjoon confirmed that he'd heard Tae say it so the butterflies in his stomach were justified.
