"Uncle Kookie and TaeTae were kissing because they are getting married..." Minjun announces as he slides down the small slide in the garden, "... but they need to be boyfriends on Sunday."
Namjoon and Jin both look over at Jungkook who is sitting in a garden chair after having arrived ten minutes ago. It's his day with the family and even though the couple suggested he didn't need to if he had other things to do, he insisted... he was now regretting his decision.
"I thought he was asleep... we were saying goodbye." Jungkook adds.
Jin laughs, "He was asleep but his eyes opened apparently."
"That's what he told us at breakfast this morning. It was the first thing he said after complaining that his legs hurt because he did too much running with Pablo." Namjoon adds.
"He did do a lot of running. He wanted to put all our rubbish in the bin, piece by piece." Jungkook explains.
Jin nods, "He said there were too many pieces."
Namjoon laughs, "He said there were too many kisses too."
Jungkook knows he's blushing, he can feel the heat in his cheeks. "He was asleep." He mumbles.
"Date number three tomorrow, huh?" Jin asks.
"Yeah." Jungkook has been trying not to think about it because he feels nauseous with excitement.
"Uncle Kookie is going to teach TaeTae how to play games." The small boy shouts out as he runs around the garden.
"I thought your legs hurt?" Jungkook shouts back.
"Only a little bit. Are you going to be boyfriends with TaeTae on Sunday?"
"Maybe. Do you like Tae, chipmunk?" It is a silly question given how much he seems to enjoy spending time with him but it's a good diversion.
Namjoon and Jin raise their eyebrows at the 'maybe' part of what Jungkook just said.
"No no... MJ loves TaeTae... and Pablo." Minjun confirms.
"Looks like someone might not be MJ's favourite person in the whole world anymore." Jin laughs.
"Oooooooh there could be tears and tantrums." Namjoon says to his Husband.
Jin nods his head, "Definitely! And not from MJ."
Both men laugh and when they see the way Jungkook is looking at them, they laugh more.
"Did you two go into publishing because you failed at comedy?" Jungkook rolls his eyes and stands, heading for the kitchen.
"Can I have apple juice, please, Uncle Kookie?" Minjun calls out.
"With Dino straw?" Jungkook asks.
"Yes, please." Is the reply.
Jungkook walks across the garden, past the vibrant flowers growing beautifully in large pots and down the three steps to the back door that he slides open. As he walks through the lounge he sees Minjun's colouring pens and a picture on the small coffee table that is positioned perfectly between two, three seater sofas. The kitchen is as homely as the rest of the house with it's warm yellow walls and wooden surfaces. Jungkook switches the kettle on and hoists himself up onto the worktop, taking his phone out of his pocket and mooning over the texts between him and Tae last night.
After dropping Minjun off and settling him in bed, leaving Namjoon and Jin to continue the movie they were watching and the second bottle of wine they were drinking, he'd sent Tae a text. It was a basic text asking if he was home with Pablo but it started an hour long conversation where they'd started playing a 'getting to know you' game. It was a great hour of messages with a string of 'Goodnights' before finally the texts stopped.
