Seeing the world freak out from the sight of aliens was a true reaction. Many people run in fear, while others stare up to the alien spaceships. I could see many military helicopters and jets soar through the sky. Although, one thing that caught me and Peter off guard. The military was beginning to evacuate civilians. Neither of us were sure where they were going to take us.
One thing is for curtain though, that the robed creatures I saw sent death threats to the species. It would explain why the military is starting to evacuate civilians. They might be also starting to attack them as well. The only thing that might make that happen, is the sighting of nuclear bombs through the skies.
I don't necessarily believe that nukes will be effective against them, but it's worth a shot. Besides, humans aren't that advanced in technology. The only thing humans can do is destroy themselves, kill species without trying, and make memes on the internet. Speaking about memes, there is a high chance that people are starting to make memes as we speak. That is the definition of human, isn't it?
I head back into my dorm, starting to pack up with Peter. Who is giving me several glances in my direction. I finally look at him fully, wondering what is on his mind. "What's wrong?" I ask him as I continue to pack my things.
"Nothing... Just I am giving the high speculation that this is your doing." I get confused by this statement, stopping what I am doing.
"Why do you say that?" I try to act normal, pretending as though he was speaking nonsense.
Once Peter puts the last thing into his bag, he looks back up to me. "Well, first you started to act weird. Then, you disappeared several times. Not long until I saw on the news that the sword was taken. Literally right after you disappeared that night. Not long after until you completely disappear for two days. You reappear once again, but aliens showed up to the planet out of nowhere..."
I grew speechless with Peter; he was aware of what happened. Just, he doesn't know what is really going on. I didn't want to mention what is happening, as it could bring out some really embarrassing news. So instead, I decide to lie. "I don't know what you are talking about, all of that is guessing that I am responsible for an alien race."
"I know it sounds crazy, but I really feel like there is something you are not telling me." Peter mentions, almost getting under my skin.
"There is... Nothing for me to tell you. Everything about me, has nothing to do with the events outside." I declare. "I promise."
Peter stares at me for a few more moments, watching as I put my last few things in my bag. Eventually, he looks away and puts his bag around his shoulder. "I am going to get going." He heads over to the door and opens it, before walking out of the dorm.
"I'll be right behind you." I tell him as he closes the door. I place the bag around my shoulder and I stop, looking around the room. I see the papers still hanging along the walls with the symbols scribbled on them. I take a deep sigh before starting to head toward the door.
Before I could open the door, I began to feel something off. A feeling that I haven't felt since before I met the sword. It was utter sickness and nausea. I grow confused, remembering that the sword was supposed to be detached from me. Unless, it wasn't and it was back.
I look back toward the papers on the floor. They had the same symbols that made me get teleported onto the spaceship. The same spaceship that I failed to save everyone. Now, I am going to get destroyed with the rest of the people I know and love. I look back down to the door. The only problem is that the sickness was getting worse.
I open the door and leave the dorm, going out toward the street at the entrance of the college. I soon notice in the sky a small aircraft falling down from the sky and heading towards the ground. The only thing that this aircraft can tell me, is that it contained the sword. I look back towards my bag, before placing it beside a wall.
I look back up toward the aircraft falling down. Then, I start to look around for a taxi nearby. When I find one, I call for it to stop. I get into the back passenger seat, looking over to the driver who was a man in ragged clothes. "Follow that aircraft falling from the sky." I tell the driver.
The man looks through the mirror at the front, looking back towards me. "Are you sure?" He had a look of worry.
"I'll pay extra..." I took out $500 from my pocket and handed it over to him.
He doesn't go forward; instead he continues to look at me. "Okay..." He presses his foot down onto the peddle, making the car start to go forward down the street. I look out the side window toward the people who are running and staring up into the sky. I knew that all of these people were going to perish very soon. All of that is because of my doing, but luckily nobody knows that it was me.
It tells me that this is my only chance to redeem the mistakes I have made. With that kept in mind, I can only do that if I obtain the sword. Until then, there is no time to tell when the robed people will destroy us.
It was a pretty long drive toward the small pod that looked like mine. I knew that it had to be the sword, there was no other reason why I could be feeling sick. When the driver stopped the car along the pathway that was near the crash site. I gave them $550 for the help, before getting out of the taxi. I watched as the taxi drove off, leaving me alone with whatever was in the pod.
I begin to walk forward, hoping that whatever was inside the aircraft. It wasn't going to contain a robed creature ready to kill me. However, as I walked closer to the pod. I saw that nothing was coming out of it. The pod lay there with no life being revealed from inside. So, I decided to walk closer to it. When I do, I go up toward the window of the pod and open its hatch.
When I looked inside, I saw the sword on the floor with a small bit of blue energy around it. I reach down to it, but I stop as I start to hear noises coming closer. I turn around, seeing helicopters and military vehicles starting to come in. When I see this, I go down to it and grab the sword.
Right as I do, I feel a large portion of energy go through my veins. Not only that, but I also feel it going through the rest of my body. It was a feeling that I never expected to feel. Though, it felt very good to have it. When it finished, I looked down to the sword in my hand. Seeing the energy go through my veins clearly from my skin.
I look up and see the military starting to surround the pod and me. I look around to each and every one of them, before looking up to the sky. I felt larger portions of energy surge through my body more, before I yank myself into the sky. The soldiers with armed weapons watch me as I soar through the sky. Disappearing as I arrive into space.
I looked down to earth beneath me once I was far enough. Confused about how I was able to breathe in space, I soon spotted the spaceship outside planet earth. I stare at it for a few moments, before bursting through space toward it. I kept the sword tight in my hands as I grew closer to it. I readied myself for a battle that was about to come. I am the AzLean Soldier.
