Jack slowly opened his eyes which were met with soft cream colored fur. He quietly yawned then gave a smile as his tail swayed. After taking one last sniff of his boyfriend, Jack wiggled his way out of Legosi's grip and over to his phone.
Soft rain patted the dark window. "6:45? Should've known since the sun isn't up yet." Jack turned to his wolf and gently shook him. "Hey buddy, do you have work today?" Legosi responded by wrapping himself around Jack, cuddling him gently. "Gosi, you know I love cuddling, but answer my question, silly."
Legosi grunted,gripping Jack tighter. "No, no work today. Can we just sleep now? " His voice was raspy and deep which helped Jack relax.
"Well I don't have classes today," Jack said. "So for now, we can 'just sleep' but we'll have to get up eventually." He tucked his head into Legosi, allowing his eyes to close when got comfortable. Legosi didn't even respond with words, a grunt was sufficient enough. Jack could lay like this forever.
The pair slowly drifted off, enjoying each other's embrace.
When Jack awoke again, sunlight shone through the window, blinding his eyes for a quick moment. "Gosi," Jack asked groggily, as he felt Legsoi's arms moving, "how long have you been awake?"
"Maybe half an hour?" Legosi replied, burying his nose in the crook of Jack's neck. "You look so peaceful when you're sleeping, so I didn't want to wake you up."
Jack let out a long sigh. "Well let's get up. I have a special plan for you buddy." Jack tried to move, but Legosi held onto him tighter.
"Noooo. I don't want to move. Besides, I bet no one else in the whole world is out of bed yet."
"Gosi, I love you, but I bet the whole world besides us is out of bed right now." This wasn't the first time that Legosi wanted to just lay here--Jack knew exactly how to get out. He moved faster than Legosi had expected, slipping through the tight, but somewhat loose, grasp.
Legosi whimpered from the empty feeling in his arms. "The whole world can fit in my arms, and right now--" Legosi snatched up Jack, pulling him back into the soft sheets of the bed. " My entire world is inside of my arms, still in bed."
Jack let out a full on laugh, tail wagging "You're a real piece of work, you know that? But seriously let me up. I told you I have a special plan for you."
"Well, what is it?" Legosi tilted his head as he released Jack.
Jack stood up, stretched out his body, then responded. "Just get dressed and meet me in the kitchen." Jack smiled at Legosi as he exited their room and left the wolf questioning exactly what his plan was, but Legosi knew Jack could never plan anything malicious so he let it be.
