October 2005
"Hanagaki!! Tell this message to Mikey!" Hanma grinned as he handed the Valhalla jacket to Baji.
"H—huh?"
Kazutora turned around. "A week from now, on October thirty first."
"In the abandoned parking lot! Valhalla versus Toman, our final fight!!"
That was what just happened earlier. Takemichi was now walking out of the Valhalla hideout with none other than the Suicidal Maniac herself, Dazai.
She was grinning, like something wonderful happened. And indeed it was in Dazai's case. She turned to look at the worried Takemichi and smiled ear to ear.
"Isn't this great, Takemichi-kun? There's another fight going on." She clasped her two hands together.
Takemichi gaped at her. "Dazai-san, you're.. happy about this?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" She tilted her head to the side.
"There's another interesting event keeping me here besides Y/n-chan and you."
Takemichi stopped his next step midway and pointed a confused finger at himself.
"Me..?"
"Yeah, you! Aren't you a time traveler?" She straightforwardly claimed with the same smile.
His body jolted with his eyes going wide. "H—huh!?"
'was I that obvious!? Dazai-san is scary.. no— This is dangerous! What if she tells everyon—-' His thoughts were cut off when he heard her voice, easing his thoughts.
"Don't worry, I promise I won't tell anyone." She promised with a sincere look.
Takemichi slowly turned to look at her with an anxious look. But, when he saw that she was honest that she wasn't going to tell anybody, he slowly relaxed.
"Thank you, Dazai-san.." He gave her a grateful smile.
"Hehe, no biggie." She released a giggle.
"Oh— Cool ability, by the way! I wonder what the future has in store for me.." she pursed her lips in thought, then a dreamy sigh escaped her lips.
"Maa.. I hope Y/n-chan and I committed double suicide.." A soft smile formed on her lips.
Takemichi stared at Dazai's relaxed face before he slowly frowned with furrowed brows and averted his eyes to the side of the road. Lots of cars were dashing by along with motorcycles. Birds were flying in the sky, clouds were aligned perfectly— looking like art. The sky had an orange hue to it, meaning it's time for the sun to set.
