Min Riera

Finally. It ended.

Yesterday was the longest day I ever had in my life.
But, it was the most interesting one as well.

ring ring~

"Riera, I need your help"
Jeoyoon said on the other line.

"What is it Yoon? And why is it so noisy on your side?"
Their department is usually very well organized so I don't get the chaos I hear.

"That's the thing, I'm- its my day off girl. I'm not in the office, but Mr. Park suddenly wants my copy of the latest packaging design for next season's release. I have it printed out but its on my desk. You can give it to him after lunch, so no rush"
Her voice was low and sounded like she didn't have energy but it was still loud enough for me to hear.

"I'll go get for you, don't worry"
She must've been really worried that she couldn't comply to Mr. Park's request.

I then hear her say a million of 'thank yous' to me, she told me it was in a light blue folder and Minsoo has the keys to her offoce for me to get in. After that, she bid her goobye and hung up.

I then headed to Minsoo's office after the call.

"Thank you for the keys, I'll give it back since I'm afraid of loosing it"
I said to Minsoo.
I see him smile at me befote placing the keys on the disk like holder.

"I'll get going now, see you later"
I said before heading out but my footsteps haulted with Minsoo's call.

"Riera"
He started.

I turned around to look at him

"Can that later be at lunch?"
He asked while he fiddled with the edges of his desk.

"Of course. I'd love to. I even heared that they'll be serving something new on the menu"
I said while my eyes obviously shined as I talked about food.

"Oh, I was actually thinking to eat somewhere else?"
Minsoo was slightly hesistant to ask as he I showed much excitement for the available menu.

Which is true, I am excited about the new item that got added but, I think anywhere and anything is delicious when eating it with a friend. So, I said yes to his proposal. If I'm to be honest, I'm really liking this new environment, one where I have friends and all. It's been a while and I have gotten used to being alone but this is way better.

We then bid our goodbye and I headed out, for real this time.

I thought about what Jeoyoon said how I can give this after lunch instead, so I did. I'll give this after my little lunch meal with Minsoo but for now I need to head back down to my department since I have a lot of things to do today. It was my time off work yesterday and I was supposed to have time for other things on my to-do list but everything that happened yesterday was just so hectic.

I still couldn't wrap my head around how I just met the biggest and most important person in the company and not just that, I had dinner with him. It was mostly awkward interactions but still. A lot happened-

"Hello, do you mind?"
A girl politely asked me, gesturing if she could have her turn on the hand dryer.

I was at the restroom?
I must've been thinking too deeply about the events of yesterday that I didn't notice that I blankly went inside the restroom and washed my hands.

"I'll just use it after your done"
The girl gave me a weirded out but still nice smile as she hovered her hands longer on the sink.

"Oh no, please, I'm sorry here, use it. I don't mind"
I then moved away and gave her space to use it.
