I was never really the girly type. Especially when it came to dating. I've always wanted to just forget about love and be single forever. A simple plan really, but here I am letting Lenny and Cana doll me up. My fur was wrapped around a very hot stick called a curling iron. Lenny was stabbing me in the eye with a eyeliner stick. And the outfit I wore... well it actually wasn't that bad. After another 30 minutes being tortured, I finally got to finish getting ready. I was wearing butterfly earrings, white converse, and my nails were painted a light pink. I hated to say, but I enjoyed the girly feeling. As I was about to open the door, there was a knock. Cana just about jumped out of her seat trying to tell all the other girls to "shut the fruitcake up". All of them quieted down as I slowly opened the door. "Legoshi"? Lenny groaned out, her tail stopping mid sway. Her ears twitched and her eyes glared holes into his head. Said wolf was in a state of shock, as it seemed. "Um... Oshi? Are you alright"? I asked, poking his nose. He snapped out of his trance, jumping in fear. "OH, Hi (Y/N)... I was just coming by to ask you something"! A blush tinted my furry cheeks, my eyes seeing stars. 'IS HE GONNA ASK ME OUT? PLEASE!' I thought. Hope filled my mind, but was soon put down when he asked his question. "Well, I wanted to know your opinions on interspecies relationships..." his words were quite and shy. Like always. My heart shattered, of course he would like another person. Another species person. "Huh? Interspecies... I don't think their wrong. It's perfectly fine for two animals to express their affections. Besides! You can't help you fall in love with. Why?" I felt like I was talking more to myself than Legoshi. "Well, we are doing an assignment on it in umm Math... What do you think of- um... carnivore/herbivore relationships"? His eyes held fear as he changed the subject. "Like I said, Legoshi-" I began walking away, "You can't help who you fall in love with".Leaving the building, I walked towards the destination Bill had texted me.
