"Math!? Bahahaha, he's doing an interspecies assignment in MATH!?" Me and Bill sat across from one another, his eyes staring into my soul as we laughed. I gave him a side eye, looking the tiger up and down. "So, (Y/N)! How have you been"? His voice sounded course as he began another conversation, like he had been yelling. "Um... about the same... Since our last conversation" I was trying to keep it simple. Bill was breathing in a un-natural manor. It almost seemed like he was heaving for air. To say I'm uncomfortable would be an under statement. My hands were shaking I was so nervous. "Oh, that's good to hear. I've been pretty good myself" His ears twitched, jaw clenching and un-clenching. "Happy to know-" Bill began leaning forward, like- entire top half of his body across the table. "HEY" My words startled the boy. "Yea"? He asked, sitting back down. "I- um... I'm gonna go to the bathroom" I shot up, practically sprinting to the nearest restroom. Upon entering, I let out a shaky breath. "This was a bad idea... I need to leave" Pulling out my phone, I dialed the only person who could help me. "(Y/N)"? Louise groggy voice answered the phone. "Louise! I need your help" I cried dramatically. He groaned loudly, I could tell he was tired. "What? What could you possibly want my help with, (Y/N)"? Tears stung my eyes, I knew he didn't mean to be so harsh, but I was scared and needed him. "You know how I told you about my date with Bill? Well I'm downtown with him, and he's scaring me" I began to cry. As childish as it may seem, I wasn't ready to date after all. Louise was quiet. After a few moments of silence, shuffling and rummaging could be heard on the deer's end of the phone. "Where are you"? A smile crossed my face. "I'm at-" he cut me off before I even started. "Don't answer that actually. I'll be there in bit. Stay safe. And don't leave with him" his voice was demanding. Goosebumps covered my arms as he spoke. "Sure thing. Thank you Louise" I could almost imagine the smile on his face as the line went dead.
