I woke up, feeling excited for some reason
Maybe I should take a walk around the area so I don't get lost
"Mom! I'm hungry" A little girl shouted
"Oh, I just woke up sweetie, do you want to take a walk and maybe get some breakfast?"
"Yes!" She dashed to the bathroom with a set of new clothes and I chuckled seeing her excitement After I showered and changed my clothes, I grabbed my phone and wallet and went out
"So, what do you want for breakfast?" I asked Fei who was busy looking around the unfamiliar area
"Cheesecake!" She pointed at a cafe
"Not exactly a healthy choice for breakfast but sure, just this once okay?" She nodded and dragged me to the cafe
"Wait here okay? I'm gonna go order" She nodded and I went to the counter to order
When I came back, she wasn't there on her seat
I panicked a little and looked around to find her at another table, where there are two men
I hurried over to her and grabbed her hand "Liao Jingfei! You do not just run off to some table without telling me! Never do that again!" I scolded
I turned to the two men in front of me "I'm really sorry about my daughter, did she bother you?" I asked
"Oh no, it's fine, we thought she was lost there for a moment, luckily she isn't" One of them said
"Ah I see, we'll be going now, sorry again" I grabbed Fei's small hand and gently pull her back to our table
Our ordered arrived and I fed Fei her cheesecake, of course while scolding and babbling about the 10.000 reasons why she should not run off alone without telling an adult, specifically me
"Let's go to the supermarket, I need to buy ingredients to cook" And with that, we walked to the supermarket not so far from the apartment
I held Fei's hand tight, afraid that I'd lose her again, in a foreign place, not to mention Fei does not know much about the culture here and isn't that fluent in korean
"Hmm let me see, we need cheese, some milk, vegetables, tea, a few packs of ramen, meat, and of course, the cooking utensils" I listed and started my journey of searching the things on the list with Fei right next to me
Once I found all of what I needed, we head to the cashier and scanned all the stuff we bought
"That'll be 23,765₩" I fished out my wallet and gave her the money
