Luca hummed quietly in agreement. "You're up here more than me, so I'm suprised that you haven't already explored it." He speaks, chomping down on the last of his fish slice. His brown eyes wandered towards all the items surprising him.

Ones that caught him in particular was a stack of, flat cardboard. Most were decorated in pictures of land monsters. One of the albums was titled 'un bacio a mezzanotte', or translated to 'A midnight kiss.' After flipping through some more albums, he set aside two he was most interested in. They were titled 'We'll meet again' and 'Un bacio a mezzanotte' from before.

(Y/N) looked over to see what he was rummaging through. "Oh, you're looking through the disks? Papa said they play music through something called a 'record player', he's heard it before and he gave those albums to me. I haven't got one though, I haven't been able to find one yet. I'm sure they're not hard to find," She shrugged her shoulders, smiling quietly as Luca stared in awe at these albums. They looked really interesting.

Luca must've spaced out before he didn't reply. The boy turned the albums to the side, squinting one eye as he pulled out the record disk. He held the delicate material in his hands, giving it a gentle shake before pressing it to his ear. "I..don't hear anything." He looked disappointed, furrowing his brow as he removed the disk from his ear.

"No no, Luca, we need a record thingie before you can listen to them. No harm in trying, though." (Y/N) snickers quietly, picking a stray bit of rotten wood which was peeling from the walls, wiping the remains on her jean shorts with little care. "Well, is there anything else you'd like to see?" She gestures to everything around her, spinning around to gently tend to the basket her Mama gave her, gently placing the contents on the main wooden table of her little hut.

Luca purses his lips, looking around the wooden home. He approaches the mattress being supported by a polished frame. It was covered in a thin blanket decorated in lots of little leaves. He ran his hand across the fabric, letting out an 'ooh' at the strange texture. "What's this? It's not like a kelp bed." He questions, perching onto the comfortable bed. (Y/N) tilts her head and turns around, approaching Luca who was sprawled across the bed, giggling with a wide grin.

"That's a proper bed! It's what humans have sleep in. Definitely a lot better than sleeping on a rock covered in weeds." (Y/N) could see that Luca was unfamiliar with all these human items. She's never seen somebody so interested in a bed. Luca nodded in agreement, grabbing fistfuls of blanket and nestling into it. "Definitely! How can something be so comfortable?" He exclaimed.

"Luca! Come on!" Callee (Y/N), thrashing her scarred tail as if to call him over as he trailed slowly after her. The two were in the ocean in sea monster form, headed to the unexplored Isola Del Mare. "I'm coming, sorry." He apologising quickly with an awkward grin. The female sea monster shook her head playfully, swimming up quickly towards the beach of the island. It definitely seemed steeper and more hazardous then Isola Del Conch, but it was still pretty nonetheless!

Clambering onto the beach, (Y/N) stood uncomfortably on the pebbled, rocky beach, the stones stabbing at her webbed feet. "This is a very strange beach. Haven't seen many pebbled ones in a while." She shook the water off of her scaled body, grabbing handfuls of stones before dropping them back onto the stoned beach.

Luca hurried up behind her, the water drying on his body so his scales dissipated into human skin and his brown hair popped from his petal shaped scales. "What do you think lives here?" He questioned, following behind (Y/N) as she dragged her feet up the exhausting slope leading up to the top of the island. "I don't know, but whoever they are, they must love hills. This island is quite literally one massive hill." She gestured to the steep uphill of the island.

The young sea monster chortled, trying his best to keep up with her larger strides. Suddenly, there was a tap on his shoulder. Suddenly, water was splashed onto Luca, his pretty scales being revealed as the liquid soaked him. The same happened to (Y/N), water being splashed in her face which revealed her (F/C) scales and her now slitted pupils. "Hey! (Y/N) hissed, wiping her face to see who had splashed herself and Luca.

Luca let out a half scream, turning around to see who it was who had soaked him with water. He came to an unfamiliar, tanned boy with strong, green eyes. He was wearing a yellow tank top with brown shorts being kept together by a piece of rope. He was taller than both himself and (Y/N). The boy was holding two glasses in his hand, now both empty "Good, you're not human. But, I scared you two, didn't I? You too?" He looked over to (Y/N) who was still wiping her face.

The stranger grinned at Luca's confused expression, offering him his hand to shake. "Alberto Scorfano." He corrected Luca grabbed his thumb instead of embracing his hand. "Luca Paguro." The younger sea monster replied. (Y/N) hurried over to greet Alberto, extending her hand.

"I'm (Y/N) Brambilla. Nice to meet you, Alberto! I knew somebody was living here." She stood beside Luca, who was a little less shy as he stared down at his hands, fiddling with them quietly. Alberto held both their hands, making a pulling motion before twisting both of their hands. "Piacere, Girolamo Trombetta," he said confidently. "It's a human thing, I'm kind of an expert. But of course, who wouldn't want to live here? So, you two wanna stick around for a bit?"
