> Aerith,

I woke up a little late this morning - blame it on Loraine who couldn't stop swapping salive with her boyfriend - so when I arrived at my first lesson I was confused on why everyone was standing outside in front of the closed the door. A tall guy in his early thirties walks up towards the door as everyone makes way for him.

"Class before I let you in I want to go through the rules of my class. There's will be no eating nor drinking, giving me an attitude will reduce the points of your house and finally- I am in charge of the seating arrangement. Why I do this" he asks, while no one actually asked him anything. "It's because I have spend five years working at the other Hogwarts and no matter what age, people will always stick to the person they already know. Not in my class" he continues. I see how he grabs a notebook out of his pocket and starts naming people who have to sit together, there go my chances of sitting with Jackson- not that I mind actually.

"Finally there's Mr. Hemmings and Miss. Delaurox" he says as he let's everyone in the classroom.

He clears his throat before dropping his bag on the ground. "I'm professor Kang, your potion teacher. There's only one thing I hate and that is ones that got a bad attitude, sit up straight Mr. Delaurox" professor Kang says as he stands in front of my brother's table. "Sleep in you own time", with that he goes back to the board. "However there is something I strongly believe in and that is helping a fellow student, this is the reason why I put you together with the person sitting next to you. For two reasons," he says and pauses for a second. "first of all one of the two is a genius in potions and second of all I want to challenge you all to work in a pair you would normally not choose".

Some Hufflepuf girl raises her hand to gain his attention. "But professor wouldn't it be more of a challenge if you put people from different houses together".

He nods. "Good question and the answer is no. No matter what age, there still is this rivalry between Gryfindor and Slytherin so for that reason I don't do mixing students up". He picks up his book as a crayon starts writing the name of the potion we have to make on the board. "To test all of your skills I decided to let all of you start with an advanced potion, don't worry if you screw it up- the only consequence is that you need to practise more often".

His eyes fall on Zelo who is looking at professor Kang with a bored look on his face. "Wiggenweld potion, a healing potion that holds the power to awaken a person from a magically induced sleep. Grab your textbooks and good luck".

I turn to face Zelo who is on the verge of falling asleep right here and now.

"Eh you gather the ingredients then I'll start with the beginning of the potion" I say while avoiding eye contact.

He scowls as he grabs my chin. "Yah my eyes are here" he mutters. "Aish, when are you going to sleep in my room" he asks a little too loud since it catches the attention of some Hufflepuf's in front of us.

I give his head a slight push. "Go and get me the ingredients before I slap you for real".

He chuckles softly. "Ah feisty",

I give him an annoyed look while he gathers the needed ingredients with the book in his hands. Not a minute later he returns and slumps down on his chair. "So what now".

"Give me the salamander blood so it turn red, then gently stir it until it turns orange- be careful I don't want to make it explode" I say with a slight fear the he is going to blow the place up.

However Zelo groans before pouring the blood into the cauldron as he starts to stir it gently. "Fine now what".

"Omo learn how to read, I'm not going to hold your hand while making this potion" I mutter as I check the steps in my textbook.

Zelo let's out another frustrated cry before reading the next line out loud. I had to admit that it wasn't that bad working together with Zelo, I had expected explosions. I softly rub the spot in my neck that I am desperately trying to cover up. Suddenly there is a loud explosion that catches everyone's attention.

"That's what happens when you don't have patient" professor Kang says as he walks over to the two Slytherin guys that are now covered in their potion. I had to admit that it looked funny to see them covered in orange fluid.

"Yes professor" they say while wiping it away from their eyes.

I glance at Jackson who is still focused on his potion that it's like he never heard anything at all, then to Jordyn who is chuckling softly at the sight of the covered Slytherin guys. There's a soft tap on my shoulder that catches my attention, Zelo.

"Now is this green good or bad" he asks.

My jaw drops open, he did it perfectly- and that for someone who is bad at potions.

"Not bad" I say trying not to boost his ego.

"Good so you'll do something for me in return right" he asks. "Because you have to since I did all the work".

I want to obey but I know he's right so all I can do is just nod and accept my defeat. He better not think about kissing or marking me again because then I will hurt him physically.

"But nothing dirty or else I will kick you" I mutter.

All he does is snicker softly before calling professor Kang. "Professor-nim, we're done" he shouts through the class. After that he stands up and gently brings to potion to the professors desk. "We worked hard" he says and bows shortly before walking back to me with his smug smile. Aish this guy.
