" So what exactly is this change? " the leader asked hoping it's not something bad,

" We all know that the music you make isn't very general public friendly. And even tho all of you are really handsome but the lineup decided by Bangchan still lacks visuals that fit the Korean beauty standards. Both of these factors will make it hard for you to get the general public's attention which you very much need to thrive in the industry. So we've decided to add one more member to the lineup to solve this " he says with a serious expression.

(A/N: Here JYP specifical talks about the SK general public, they prefer Soft/Balled songs over the hard-hitting EDM ones. So please don't go like they have no tastes, everyone has a preference so please respect it.

And please don't say something nasty about how shitty or strict the SK beauty standards or how shallow SK are to have them, because every country has its own beauty standard. It's a universal problem so don't be like only SK has beauty standards.

Chan was relieved to know at least JYP isn't gonna kick anyone out of the group.
Also adding one more member doesn't sound so bad. Like they can create some awesome-looking formations with the odd number of members without needing to hid one member. And it sounds like the 9th member is going to be a visual, so what could possibly go wrong?

(A/N: Usually one member get covered up during choreography in groups with even number of member, e.g. Blackpink, Aespa and Gidle, etc.)

" So who is he? " chan asked,

" The 9th member is a female. " Jyp replied and waited to see their response.

WTF said Jeongin in an inaudible volume. He is really shy around new people and took him a very long to get comfortable with his existing member and now one more member is being added to the group and that too A GIRL. This doesn't sound good, at least not to him.

" But this is a boy group " said chan,

" It WAS a boy group BUT NOW it's going be a co-ed group " Jyp corrected the younger boy.

" But this is very risky and it's definitely going get us and especially the girl a lot of hate " Chan said and worried about the female member even tho he doesn't know her. According to him, nobody deserves to be hated.

" Hate is still a type of attention. A bunch of little controversies won't hurt. And it's OUR job to make sure to protect you and her from all the hate, so you don't need to worry about that. She will be a great addition to the group because of her powerful vocal, terrific dance skills and goddess-like visuals. She's a full package and from the business's point of view, her addition will give you great exposure. " Jyp replied sounding like he's getting little irritated.

The boys went silent and looked at each other unsure. This change can ultimately make or destroy their career even before it started but it's not like they can do something to stop this. After years of training, they're finally getting a chance to debut, being rebellious right now might get them ending up on the bad side and ruin their relationship with the company and god knows what the company might do to them or their careers.

After 2 minutes of complete silence, chan sighed and spoke "So, who is She?"
