Chapter 2: Cupid's Shot

I felt strange. Has the romantic feel of Piras affected our hearts? No! It's obvious I'm hallucinating because of the romance novels... I hope. My wishes were unclear. Gajeel or not. I can tell he felt embarrassed to.
"Y-y-yeah?" I murmured. My face felt hot.
"L-let's go and find a hotel." Gajeel spat out. He averted his eyes from me.
"Umm.. Y-yeah..." I muttered. I tried, but no words came out but a simple "yeah".
As we tried to walk forward, a man sprang up in front of us.
"Welcome! Are you two a couple? Of course you are! Now couples get a free lovers rooms in our luxury hotel, Piras Cupids!" The man yelled as he handed us tickets and ran away. We stared in awe at our new tickets. It would be great if we didn't have to share a room. When we walked over to the hotel, I was checking us in. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I was horrified! I turned around slowly...
"Shorty! I bought you this ummmm, candy apple.. Be grateful." Gajeel said quietly. I smiled at his shy, brute words. All of a sudden, the bellhop stood up.
"Are you two Fairy Tail wizards?" He said as he stared at Gajeel's emblem.
"Yeah, what does it matter to you?" Gajeel said.
"The city has pushed the festival date by one day to let you explore our city. Your job starts tomorrow," the bellhop said with a frown. Gajeel and I then walked over to our room. It was as if we lived in a palace! Luxurious furniture, great service, I hoped that nothing would ruin this experience. All of a sudden, Gajeel and I felt something hit us again. I was perplexed.
"Shorty.. You look... Good today..." Gajeel shyly said.
"T-thanks..." I replied plainly. He looked somewhat sad. On the inside, I was panicking. This can't be happening! It was like Cupid took his aim and shot us. What can I do?! To change the mood, I spoke.
"Let's form a temporary team! Team Iron Script! Okay!?" I cried out in a panick.
"Sure, but that doesn't matter right now." Gajeel replied. He looked at me in a loving way. Will he do something?!
