You were a great person, once they get to know you at least. At first you look big and scary but on the inside you're just as helpless as a toddler.
You never showed weakness, not even with your close friends or family. You were brave and very strong actually, teasing people whenever you got the chance, he loved it all.

"Huh? I'll totally win this." You crossed your arms as you looked at Rindou, "as if, you're just stubborn admit it." He grinned "admit what? That Ran is gonna ask that girl out and she'll say yes?" You gave him a cocky closed eyes smile, "yeah right, I know my brother better.." he rolled his eyes.
As you and Rindou watched Ran confess to his crush behind a bookshelf, he couldn't believe it "hell yes.." you said proudly, "see? Now you lost our bet, I always win" you smirked "whatever" he handed you the $20 (pretend it's not US dollars 👯♀️).
As you two finished your last class of the day and as he walked you home, an awkward silence fell. This had never happened before so why now? "Y/n?" Should I confess to him now? "Y/n..?" Or will he reject me? "Y/n..!" No..he wouldn't I mean I'm amazing! "Y/n!" Your name being said out loud pried you out of your thoughts.
"Huh? Sorry, I wasn't listening!" You said scratching the back of your neck, "tsk, of course you weren't, anyways. What are you gonna do tomorrow?" Rindou asked, "uh nothing why?" You said, he looked at you confused "don't you have plans?" He said tilting his head a little "no...." Now you were getting confused "won't you do anything for your birthday tomorrow?" He asked "birthday-OH! oh..it's my birthday tomorrow!" You totally forgot, what an idiot.
"How the hell would you forget your own birthday stupid?" He teased, "look! I have other things on my mind that are more important!" You chuckled, "like what?" He asked, you suddenly went quiet thinking of an excuse "pfff- don't lie y/n, you never have anything in mind, you're an airhead" he said grinning, damn idiot..thank god he's not that smart, "whatever!" You rolled your eyes playfully.
"Bye Rindou!" You waved "if you have nothing to do tomorrow let's hang out!" He shouted as he walked away "okay!!" You said.

You were curled up on the floor, thinking about what the hell went wrong in your life. You've been crying since last night "what the hell.." you said through your sniffles, you hadn't slept either.
This is why you hated your birthday, someone always had to ruin it for you, wether it was one of your fake friends or family. No fucking wonder you forget your birthday is even a thing.
You finally picked up your phone, "5 missed calls from Rindou... why is he calling me so much?" You were a little irritated, tsk. You tossed your phone on your bed. 3 minutes later you heard a knock on your bedroom door, "go away." You said "y/n, why didn't you pick up the damn phone? I was beginning to worry-" he said before stopping and went quiet..
"Y/n? What happened? Why are you on the floor?" He began to ask questions as he walked over to you, then he cupped your cheeks and forced you to look at him, his eyes widened a bit "why are you crying?" His voice suddenly went soft.
You just looked at him, "I..." you paused trying to come up with an answer, when you started to cry again. Then your head fell back down and you started to sob..he was taken aback to say the least, how can someone be fine and smiling to being a mess the very next day? He didn't know.
"Talk to me.." he said before he sat next to you and put his arm around your back and pulled you to his chest, he didn't like it when you cried. He wanted you to be happy, with him.
"Y/n, don't cry whatever or whoever made you cry like this isn't worth your time or tears." He said while rubbing your back.

The rest of the day Rindou stayed with you instead of doing anything for your birthday. You guys told funny stories and did his best to take your mind off of earlier, this was by far the best birthday you've ever had.
