The next morning, Lucy was back to her normal, jovial self and neither she nor Dean talked about the night before.

Right after breakfast, Dean got a call from Bobby. He walked back into the kitchen afterwards. “We got a case,” he told Sam.

“Great, where is it?” Sam asked.

“About an hour from here, in Locksley,” Dean answered. “Bobby said there’s some sort of haunting going on at one of the tourist traps there. None of the hunters that went there found anything though.”

“Then why are we going?” Sam asked.

“Because somebody died,” Dean answered. He looked over at Kevin. “Hold down the fort, okay? And keep an eye on Lucy.”

            Kevin saluted. “Aye, Captain.”

            “I’m coming,” Lucy protested.

Dean rolled his eyes and sighed. “Fine. Charlie left her clothes in the closet in your room when she went to Oz,” he said and she skipped happily off to her room.

Sam glanced at Dean. “No argument?” he asked, amused.

“It’s because he loves her,” Kevin said with a grin.

Dean glared at him. “Shut up.”

“So you do love her,” Sam teased.

“I said shut up!” Dean said angrily and stalked out.

Sam and Kevin looked at each other and grinned. “He loves her,” they said in unison.

Lucy came out of the bunker wearing a pair of jeans that were a little too big for her, a black turtleneck and one of Charlie’s heavier jackets. She walked over to the Impala and watched Dean load stuff into the back of it. “Thank you,” she said.

Startled, Dean jerked his head up and slammed it into the underside of the hatch. He looked up at her. “For what?”

“For last night,” she told him.

            “Uhh, yeah, sure,” he said.

Just then, Sam walked out of the bunker. “Are you two ready yet?” he called to them.

“Yeah!” Lucy called back to him.
