Ring Ring Ring

I answer the phone "hello?" I asked politely. "Hey is this Amber Gallagher?" someone asked, "oh yeah! Why? Who's this" I asked confused. "Oh this is Don Tibbles" Don said quickly. "I was wondering if you wanted to join a hockey team!" He asked me. "Oh um...I'll think about it!" I said while smiling. "Okie dokie! Just meet me next week at the ice palace!" Don said to Me, "okay! Thanks again!" I hung up and went to the kitchen where my family was.

"Hey I got this call from a guy named Don Tibbles and said if I wanted to join a hockey team next week and we'll I was wondering if I could?" I asked her parents on the table.

"A hockey team?!" My dad laughed thinking it was dumb.

"Henry!" My mom said slightly yelling.

"No it's fine mom! I was just wondering but I don't have to go if you guys don't want me to." I said with a slight frown.

"Well I think it's a great idea! I think you should go!" My mom said happily.

"Wait omg really?" I asked smiling.

"Of course! I would love you to go" My mom said.

"Omg thank you so much!" I hug my mom tightly.

Okay so getting to know Amber. Amber is sorta always in her room and her dad is barley home because he is always out drinking with his friends but anyways Amber has always tried to be nice to her dad once in a while but he always yells and thinks her ideas are stupid. Amber has always loved being an only child until one day when Amber was 11, her mom told her she was pregnant with a boy. By the time Amber's mom (Aubrey) had the baby boy (Josh) Amber was 13. Ambers dad treats Josh better then he treats Amber. Amber was getting stressed with school and getting her grades up that she started not really caring anymore. Amber has always wanted to play hockey because she was very good at Ice skating. Amber and everyone are 16 by the way.

A WEEK LATER

I make it to the ice palace and see other teenagers joining too. 'Wow' was all I could say when I saw the ice palace.

Everyone skated towards other teenagers that were wearing these duck jerseys.

The coach says "Tell me about my new kids"

Don Tibbles says "That's Luis Mendoza, He's from our Miami club"

I slightly smirked and thought 'he's hot'

"A real speedster, incredible skater I clocked him at 1.9 seconds, blue line to blue line" Don continued on.

As Luis continued skating I was adoring him.

"Good-lookin skater" A random girl said across from me.

"Very good-lookin, what do you think Guy?" Said this strange boy with glasses.

"Shut up, Averman" This cute-lookin guy said elbowing him to the ground.

I laughed softly

"He has one minor problem" Don said with a confused face.

As I turned around I saw that Luis has crashed into the wall.

"Aah" was all Luis said.

"Has a little trouble stopping" Don said.

"A little?" I said laughing.

"I'd say so" said a boy. 'He looked like a goalie' I thought.

All the new players skated to go help Luis up.

"I almost had it that time" Luis said.

As Don continued introducing everyone else it was my turn.

"That's Amber Gallagher, she's an incredible skater" Don said pointing at me.

I was skating and I saw this blonde cute guy staring at me smirking. I couldn't look away. He was cute and adorable.

As I stopped and smiled I saw other guys looking at me and smirking too. But I was only focusing on the Blonde guy.

I thought he was done introducing us but there was this tall guy that didn't look like a teenager, he was cute.

He was listening to rock music and was wearing headphones over his black skull bandanna.

He was skating towards everyone and I. He was singing along to his music. He pushed down a couple of ducks.

The coach said "that guys a teenager"

Don said "uh yeah. Hormones"

"He's a goon" coach said.

He went up to Dwayne and said "C'mon, Tex! Sing it with me!"

Dwayne shook his head no looking scared.

He threw his stick to Julie saying "here ya go sweetie!"

"My kids don't play that kinda hockey" Coach said.

"I believe they're called enforcers, Gordon." Don said.

"When you play Iceland, you're gonna need him." Don continued on.

"My little man!" He said to sweet Kenny. He hits his head and Ken falls back.

"Who does this guy think he is?" A guy said.

"All Right, that's it!" Goldberg says.

"Let me take care of this" Gordon says.

Everyone starts arguing while I'm in the back enjoying all of this.

"EVERYBODY FREEZE!" Gordon yells at everyone causing me to jump a little.

"Now, we didn't come here to fight! We came here to play hockey!" Coach says.

"We're team U.S.A. You represent your country." He continued on.

"That's right" Don says.

Coach looks at him then looks back at us.

"Now I want you-" Coach tried saying but Don cut him off by saying "To be that all that you can be right? Ya gotta raise yourself up guys! Ya got-" Coach looks at Don annoyed.

Everyone laughs.

"All right, now let's start with the scrimmage." Coach said.

"Great! Scrimmage!" Don said blowing his whistle. "You heard your coach now-" Don looks at Gordon and sees how annoyed he looks. "Hey, you don't need me here. I've got an appointment anyway. I've got to see Miss MacKay. She's the team tutor." He starts to walk away but coach stops him and says "Don?" And puts his hand out. "Come on." Don hands his whistle to him. "You'll get it back at the end of the school term." Coach says causing everyone laugh.

"All right, ducks. Show 'em what you got! Let's scrimmage!" Coach says then blows his whistle.
