I was jealous. But I can't lie, Kate is hot.

But still! Adam deserves better because he told me all about her but now he's dating her?

"Hey Charlie! Can you come with me please" he nodded and followed be outside.

"Do you know why Adam's acting like that?" I asked him looking straight at his eyes.

"No but I heard him saying that he was trying to get you jealous" Charlie said.

"Oh well um.. it's fine I guess but I'm gonna go home, wanna come?" I asked him trying to be nice.

"Yeah! I'd love to!" He said smiling.

"Ok let's just leave Adam." I said grabbing his wrist and started walking home.

ADAM'S POV

When I saw Charlie and Amber leave I thought they were together and got fucking mad.

But I guess the game is on Amber.

AMBER'S POV:

Charlie and I made it to my house and saw my dad passed out on the couch. I quickly shut the door and brought Charlie in my room.

"So what do you want to do now?" Charlie said smiling sitting on my bed.

"I don't know... how about umm.. want cookies?" I said sitting in front of him.

"Yes!" Charlie said grabbing my hands.

"Okay! Let me go get them! I'll be right back" I said leaving the room.

CHARLIE'S POV:

When Amber left the room for cookies I was staring at the ceiling, thinking.

Did I like Amber?

Or am I just trying to be nice?

I mean she's beautiful, humorous, and very kind.

I didn't want to break her heart either.

She seemed happy with me.

She came back with a box of cookies and drinks.

"Here!" She said smiling.

As she was setting up the cookies and drinks in front of us, I was adoring her.

I hope that doesn't sound weird.

She looked up at me and smiled.

We were staring at each other's eyes.

I smiled.

She was beautiful

She had light brown eyes.

Light brown hair.

A beautiful smile.

She's perfect.

AMBER'S POV:

"It's ready!" I said to Charlie who was staring at me the whole time.
