Charlie and I had to wake up early to get on the plane that takes up to our dorms for our game.

When Charlie and I were done packing, we met up with everyone at the plane station.

"Hey Amber! Hey Charlie!" Connie yelled in excitement coming to hug us.

I noticed that she was looking down at our hands.

"Are you guys holding hands!! Omg!! Are you two together!" She smiled.

I look at our hands that were together, smiling.

"Yes, yes we are." I smiling at Connie then at Charlie.

"Okay! Team! Let's get in our seats so we can go!" Coach Bombay said to us.

Everyone goes in and I sit in between Charlie and Connie.

Charlie and I got bored so we played rock, paper, scissors.

I beat him about 10 times and he beat me 3 times.

"Ha! I'm better than you!" I told him playfully.

He smiled and played with my hands.

Once we got there, Charlie and I were holding hands, walking in we saw these two workers (I think they were).

"Hello! I am Nichole and this is Willam! Will for short! Anyway we will tell you who your roommates are! Will slammed his clipboard against the desk and told us our roommates.

"Dean Portman, Fulton Reed, Jesse Hall, and Julie Gaffney"

"Luis Mendoza, Dwayne Robertson. Greg Goldberg, Ken Wu, and Lester Averman"

"Connie Moreau, Guy Germaine, Amber Gallagher, Charlie Conway, and Adam Banks"

I turn to Adam rolling my eyes.

"It'll be okay! I'm gonna be there!" Charlie told me with a smile on his face.

"If you guys have any questions, tell me or tell Nichole, thank you" Will told us with a slight smile.

We make it to our dorms and unpack.

"Amber can we talk?" Adam told me looking down.

"Uhhh sure" I say.

We both walk side by side outside.

"What did you need to talk about?" I told him, looking up at him.

"Oh.. What I was trying to say was that, I'm not actually with Kate. I texted her to come and make you jealous when I saw you and Charlie getting closer. I'm sorry Amber" Adam told me not even looking at me.

"Oh... well thanks for telling me." I told him surprised.

"Yeah... do you uh forgive me?" He looked up at me.

"Yeah. Of course." I told him with a hug.

"Now let's go get ready for our game" he reminded me.

After we got ready, we made it to the game.

"Amber! Start the face-off" Coach said.

I nodded and before I went on the ice, I gave Charlie a quick peck.

I took a deep breath.

As soon as the whistle blew, I got knocked down.

I got up and went after the puck.

Connie got the puck, making a goal.

We all cheered.

"Yeah, high five some more. Man, my little brother could score on these guys." Some dude said to Jesse.

"Go bother him, Then" Jesse defended.

"Ha-ha! I ain't even got a little brother!" He said to Jesse.

"Leave it alone Jesse." I told him rolling my eyes.

"Hey, Jesse! Quit gabbin' and get get on the ice" Coach Bombay said.

Jesse rolls his eyes getting on the ice.

"Show me you want it, son, go!" Coach said once more.

"Yeah! Show us you want it son, go!" He mocked him.

Coach turned around annoyed.

The random dude smiles sarcastically. "Kay"
And leaves

Jesse try's to score but gets knocked down.

Jesse gets mad and pushes the other guy that knocked him down.

"Hey, what's your problem, man!" Jesse yells.

"Jesse, forget about it! Let's go!" Coach yells.

"U.S.A. Penalty, number nine, hall. Two minutes, roughing." The rink announcer says.

"He dissed you bad, G!" The random dude presses his face against the board.

"Yeah? Come here, man!" Jesse try's to get him.

"Ha-ha. Bye-bye! Have a nice day!" He says while leaving.

Dean and Fulton look at each other doing their handshake thing.

They knock down the other team and score.

Charlie passes the puck to me and I score.

Everyone cheers.

Charlie hugs me and smiles.

We lose the puck causing the other team to score.

It's okay because we have more.

Connie passes the puck to Ken Wu and scores.

The game ends

U.S.A.: 9

Trinidad: 2

"All right, way to go! That wasn't a game, that was a statement!" Coach tell us.

We all cheer.

Charlie kisses me and tells me that I did good.

I tried my best on this. I'm kinda proud tbh.- Janine
