YOU JUST ARRIVED at the tennis court. It was finally the weekend, and you just wanted to relax and practice for your lesson. You're new to tennis, so you don't really know how it works and all.
You went to serve and glanced over to see a pretty cute—really cute guy around your age, playing with one of his friends you assumed. You tried to focus back onto your racket and struggled to make it over the net. A few more attempts, and still nothing.
Maybe tennis wasn't really your thing. "Hey," a voice said behind you, just as you were about to serve. You turn around and nearly freeze up—it was him! The cute boy you saw earlier. "Uhm, hi..." You felt yourself blush. "Are you here alone?" The boy asks.
"Yeah, I am. I'm just trying to practice for my next private lesson." You tell him, trying your hardest not to stutter.
"Oh, cool! I'm Ralph by the way," he introduced. You introduced yourself to him. "I can help you out a little if you want," he offers. "Oh, ok I guess," You reply with a smile and he smiles back.
"Ok, so you're gonna first wanna stand like this," he gets behind you and moves your body into the correct position. You were hardly focusing on what he was actually saying, and focusing more on how beautiful he was.
"See the problem is, you're swinging too low when you hit. That's why it's not going over the net. Here, like this," he takes your racket and shows you how to do it, hitting it over perfectly. "Wow! That was really good," you smile. "Thanks, I mean I'm not a professional or anything but I know enough to help you." He says, and continues the lesson.
Later once you felt ready to go home, Ralph asked for your number and if he could take you out to dinner. You were really excited, and both had a wonderful time together. You were excited to see where this would go!
