"It's true
Look how they shine for you"

It was midnight.

Harry wasn't there yet.

Draco was watching the stars.

They were brighter tonight.

Draco heard footsteps.

Harry.

"Malfoy?" The brunette questioned.

Draco didn't turn around.

Harry waited for answer and then walked over to the blonde.

"So what is that you have to show me that's so important?" Harry asked.

"You seem very energetic for someone to be awake at midnight."

Harry shrugged. "I never sleep, so I'm most energetic at night."

Draco nodded.

"So-" They both said at the same time.

"Sorry- you go." Harry gestured.

"Right. Er-" Draco cleared his throat, "The stars- I uh they remind me of you."

Neither of the boys looked at each other.

"Oh." Harry whispered. "Why?"

Harry's gazed burned, but the blonde didn't turn his head.

"Because even in darkness, you always shine the brightest."

Harry tried to fight the smile that crept on his lips.

"Why didn't you sign the letter?" Harry asked.

"Because I didn't think you would come if you knew it was me you would be meeting." The blonde explained.

Harry frowned.

The Gryffindor felt his heart ache.

"I would've."

Draco finally met the boy's gaze.

"I thought you hated me."

Harry shook his head.

"I never hated you." Harry paused. "Night Malfoy."

Draco was alone now.

Still looking at the stars.

The stars are definitely brighter tonight.
